You know that Abby Abernathy unexpectedly became Mrs. Maddox. But what do you really know?

Why did Abby pop the question?
What secrets were shared before the ceremony?

Where did they spend their wedding night?

Who else knew about it . . . and didn’t tell?

Everything about Abby and Travis’s elopement was top-secret . . . until now. Fans of Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster will get all of their questions answered in this whirlwind tale of the wedding day (and night!)—and as with all good stories, this one will definitely have been worth the wait.

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:

This was a whole pile of beautiful.

Beautiful Disaster did all sorts of cray cray things to my feelings when I was reading it. I don’t think anybody who has read and enjoyed Beautiful Disaster will forget Travis Maddox.

I loved being back with Travis and Abby. Sure, Abby and I have had our moments, but bottom line, they were meant for each other.

We get the emotions from the fire and we get Abby and Travis getting married.

I gotta say I loved the wedding. Very Vegas.

I did enjoy the pre wedding girls get together with the jelly shots. I myself have only partaken in the jelly shots a couple weeks ago for the first time. Ha! What a great game to use them with.

I am glad that Jamie touched on the 'fire' because I have to admit it kind of was brushed over in Beautiful Disaster.

Lives were lost.

I’m still not sure how I feel about how they got out of it. Is it believable that everybody that survived would stick up for them? Adam paid the price. I can’t help feeling that Trav was just as much in the wrong, but hey, I won’t dwell on it.

I think I may have liked that handled better.

Abby is protecting her man. Goes against all things lawful, but it is a book.

Do I really want Trav behind bars?

Nope.

Travis has such passion for his Pidgeon.

"I know. This is crazy. I just wanted it so bad, Abby. This crazy is my sanity."

A most touching moment with Trav’s mum. Gotta say whenever she pops up in spirit, it does make me want to grab a tissue. She sounds like a beautiful person.

Travis Maddox was the kind of gorgeous every girl dreamed about, and he was my reality.

Can’t argue with that!

A wonderful novella not to be missed.

Bring. On Trent’s book...

"Hey," Trenton said, breathless and sweaty. He pulled a few yellow strands of fake hair from his face.

"Did you lose a bet?" I said.

"As a matter of fact, I did."

Taylor and Tyler were across the room, slapping their knees and laughing so hard they could barely breathe.

...then hit me up with all the other ‘T’s ‘ in that family.

I gotta say, after that Epilogue in Walking Disaster. I am so up for a Trav book X amount of years down the track. All grown and ... well if you haven’t read Walking Disaster. I shall not spoil.

  1. I think this was a story that really needed to be told. And I'm really glad Jamie decided to tell it! I must admit I agree with you.....I'm really glad that Jamie focused on the fire in this book--it really was a bit too glossed over in the other books.

Awesome review. Can't wait until Trents book. I want a WHOLE series on the Maddox boys!!!

  2. Fans really love this book. It sounds like Travis' "redemption" is complete because of this. Someday I'll read this series...
