Today I had the pleasure of skyping with ABBI GLINES author of many New Adult Contemporary's and her YA Paranormal Romance series. I want to thank the lovely Anabel for making that possible from Simon & Schuster Australia. I was a tad nervous , and it shows, but, challenge accepted! Here is my vlog of the interview. I want to thank Abbi for taking the time out of her busy schedule to chat to me. She is really lovely. To be truthful I was sweating like I had been running a marathon at my end, I was that nervous. But I got there in the end. Abbi was kind enough to sign some prints of her covers I got printed off at Big W which I had prior organized with her. I want to give a big shout out to the lovely Rachel from The Rest Is Still Unwritten who got a couple of my books signed and made the giveaways possible for y'all. I am in my little forest and could not get to Sydney or Melbourne to the signings , so Rachel was kind enough to get my books and prints to Abbi for me.

Today I have something fun. I attended the Harlequin Blogger Summit 2013 in Sydney Australia. I have some images of my trip and a vlog of Rachel doing a talk. I had a blast catching up with my friends from school who now live in Sydney and their cat who decided to puke on the quilt at 1.00am.

I ate a lot of Japanese over two days. It was great getting back to Sydney as I lived there for 3.5 years a little over 10 years ago. Still the same, busy, busy, busy!!! Big thankyou to Harlequin for the awesome goodie bag of books and the umbrella and the invite. It was a wonderful event.
Everybody was lovely to chat to and Rachel is the most loveliest author. Very sweet! I got to speak to several bloggers who I have really only known in cyberspace. Putting a face to the name was great and I met some I hadn't spoken to before. We headed to The Chelsea armed with our umbrella's and sporting our red Harlequin bags after the Summit for a chat. Then I was scooped up by Kirrily for Japanese and a nice night of catching up.
The book community and blogging community is a really cool group of people.
