My father was most certainly NOT an innocent man. As the leader of the Gypsy Brothers MC, he was guilty of many things. But he died for a crime that he didn’t commit, framed by an enemy within who then stole his club and everything he had ever worked to protect.
Including my innocence.
When Dornan Ross framed my father, he set into motion a series of events that could never be undone. My father was murdered by Dornan Ross and his sons when I was fifteen years old.
Before my father died, Dornan Ross and his seven sons stole my innocence, branded my skin and in doing so, ensured that their lives would be prematurely cut short. That they would suffer.
I’ve just turned twenty-one, and I’m out for blood. I'm out for revenge.
But I didn't expect to fall for Jase, the youngest brother in the club.
I didn't expect that he would turn my world upside down, yank my heart out of my chest and ride away into the sunset with it.
Now, I'm faced with an impossible choice - Jase, or avenging my fathers death?
BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:
Wow! Short read, like couple hours, but WOW packs a punch.
I can see how this series of novellas would become addictive to read, with a kind of a to-be-continued ending.
Only 100 pages but Seven Sons actually felt like a full length read. No mucking about. Straight into the story and it has grit.
I think with this novella you have to just go with the fact, and accept how Lili has her female lead entering the novella.
Juliette is on a mission to become Sammi. It is all part of her plan to infiltrate her murdered father’s motorcycle club and avenge his murder. Not to mention what happened to her at the tender age of fifteen.
Just don’t question her immediate actions. She has put into a box what happened to her at the hands of the six sons and her mind is on absolute revenge.
No matter what it takes.
Juliette aka Sammi has her hand on the throttle and she has entered the story with a bang.
She got my attention.
A very determined female lead.
I like to think of Juliette as a secret agent. They do what needs to be done to get the job finished. Juliette has changed her look and infiltrated the gang that is her mission. She knows what she needs to do to be able to walk away and feel avenged.
But what condition will she be in once vengeance has been delivered?
I’m not sure how she couldn’t possibly have some sort of break down from her past and her current need to do what it takes.
Jase is a great character that promises more.
Elliot, I really love this guy. He is her safety net. Her confidant.
I do feel like Juliette/Sammi is still far too alone, mentally.
I am sure to keep reading this novella series. It is quite cleverly written with a to-be-continued ending. You simply have to read on.
We are left intrigued.
We want to know how far Sammi is willing to go, considering what she showed us in this installment.
A quick two hour read, that certainly does not hold back. If Lili can keep up this pace and grit, this will sure be a great set of novellas.
Seven Sons is currently 0.00 on Amazon , get in quick because Six Brothers is $2.68.
I think this is the type of read, that when you get to the end, you sit back and go, ‘wow what just happened?’
Dark, dangerous and full of vengeance, strap yourself in.

SIX BROTHERS - OUT NOW
I have cheated.
I have given my body and my life to the man who destroyed my family and left me for dead.
I have killed, I have sinned, and worst of all, I have enjoyed the misery of others.
I have licked the salty tears of a father mourning his firstborn son, and nothing has ever tasted so sweet.
I have died, and I have been resurrected, a phoenix from the ashes.
I know I’m going to hell. I’ll burn in the fiery pits alongside Dornan and his sons for the things I’ve done, and for the things I’m about to do.
But I don’t care. It will be worth every lick of the devils flames on my guilty flesh to destroy Dornan Ross.
One down, six to go.

I believe I got this one for free too! You and your biker stories!
ReplyDeleteI actually didn't realize it was a biker type read. I can be very vague when I pick a book up, or buy it. I pretty much look at nothing often than the cover and sometimes cost. I also am getting through a massive list of Aussie Authors, so this was freebie and Aussie so tick...tick :)
DeleteGive it a read matey I think ye will liketh :D.
