It is not.” His teeth snapped together, and every muscle and tendon swelled to hulking menace.
And that everybody is one gorgeous Alpha male named Sloane Michaels , ex UFC fighter, owner of over 60 SLAM gyms and a man with vengeance on his mind.
He is protective, has the strength of a Malley bull and a big heart when he lets Kat see behind the man who propositioned her for his plus one.
Kat is really starting to stand on her own two feet, she is growing as a character and she has business aspirations for Sugar Dancer her bakery and she isn’t going to let Sloane help her. This is her thing.
“Sugar Dancer is everything to me. And I’m going to build it into something bigger. Better.”
The previous plus ones may have wanted something from Sloane, but Kat knows that she is just his current plus one, no matter how much she wants to be more. She won’t take anything from Sloane but his body for as long as he wants her.
Is Sloane on the same page?
“We’re in too deep.”
No shit. But Kat had trusted him right down to her tears. His little fighter had a secret weapon -- honest tears that tore through every defense he had to get a chokehold on his heart. “Maybe, but we’re in it together. And right now, that’s what matters.” Way too much. Kat mattered too much.
This was never supposed to happen.
Is he starting to feel more?
Kat is turning into a bit of a tiger and wanting more from her bedroom time with Sloane.
Any sex with Sloane was good sex. Hot sex. Off the charts... but part of her wanted to let go and push the limits.
Kat gets a bit cheeky, pardon the pun.
Will she tap out?
Dr David is still being Mr Creepy and hiding a more sinister side to his life.
Marshall, Kat’s brother is the little surprise in this installment, we learn the lad isn't quite like the rest of her family.

Big time!
And Drake, I fear he is going to make me cry. Love the guy. He has such a positive attitude to the negative his life has become. I can see Kat getting in deep with Drake too.
“How do you feel about cherry popsicles?”
His eyes lit up. “You bought some?”
“Yep. If you try a few bites of some rice with chicken in it, they’re all yours.”
Drake leaned slightly to make a face at Sloane. “Hear her? The popsicles are mine.”
“What are you, five?” Sloane stuck the promised treats in the freezer.
“I’m the man who can kick your ass if you touch my popsicles.”
“Bring it, Vaughn.”
Sherry and John are great additions to the story line. I like watching Sloane bring Kat more into his inner circle.
His girl, as Drake had called her, had a kindness backed up with steel that took his breath away. “You’ve done so much for him. I’d never had asked this of you.”
“I like him. This wasn’t a hardship, he’s an interesting man.”
“I like him. This wasn’t a hardship, he’s an interesting man.”
Sloane is bending his own rules.

Cara Beaumont would have to be played by Amanda Seyfried. I think she has the right kind of wide-eyed look that I imagine on Cara. 
Dax Allard would be played by James Franco. I love his look—it’s dangerous and alluring at the same time. On the other hand, the model on the cover makes a pretty perfect Dax, too. 
Oscar DuBois would be played by Liam Neeson. He makes a distinguished-looking older man, I think. 
Grace Beaumont, Cara’s mom, would have to be played by Ellen Barkin.
