UNMARKED

KAMI GARCIA

THE LEGION # 2

Releases : 7th October 2014

Published By : Little Brown books

The heart-pounding sequel to the instant New York Times bestseller, Unbreakable, by New York Times bestselling Beautiful Creatures co-author Kami Garcia.

He is here... and he could be anyone.

Kennedy Waters lives in a world where vengeance spirits kill, ghosts keep secrets, and a demon walks among us–a demon she accidentally set free.

Now Kennedy and the other Legion members–Alara, Priest, Lukas, and Jared–have to hunt him down. As they learn more about the history of the Legion and the Illuminati, Kennedy realizes that the greatest mystery of all does not belong to any secret order, but to her own family. With the clock ticking and the life of someone she loves hanging in the balance, Kennedy has to ask the question she fears most: what is it about her past that has left her Unmarked?

******

I really enjoyed Unbreakable - The Legion # 1, I am looking forward to seeing where Kami takes me in Unmarked.

My review is HERE for Unbreakable.

Wrap up of the blog since last WOW

I have my Friday Giveaways, every Friday with signed goodies and swag that I have accumulated from some awesome authors.

I went to an advance screening of The Fault In Our Stars by John Green on Monday night in Brisbane, Australia. It was BRILLIANT!! This movie is going to be a mega hit when it releases next month.

I've just been hanging about in my cave and reading lots of books and reviewing , just like you all. A great book I just read is The Beautiful and the Cursed by Page Morgan. Victorian era, Luc is a gargoyle. My only other gargoyle book I have read is Jennifer L Armentrout's, The Dark Elements series.

Page does a brilliant job of her first book in The Dispossessed series. I am reading # 2 now, The Lovely and the Lost releasing May 13th. There is a novella, # 1.5 , Marco's Story, I am trying to get a hold of, as I like reading novella's. Sometimes here in Australia we can't get access on Amazon to the digital novella's.

Go figure?

This is Page's ...err... page on Goodreads. After reading # 1 that was released last year, I think if you like Cassandra Clare's , The Infernal Devices, you will like the style of this read. It isn't steampunk, but the style. I really like the guy sub characters and Gabby is the sister I think who reminds me a bit of Tessa from TID. In saying that there is a bit of Ingrid in Tessa too. Anyhoo, I really loved this book.

Luc is the forbidden love. Yum!

I look forward to buzzing about and seeing what everybody has in their WOW this week.

Happy Reading!

Michelle

I am looking forward to this one. I simply loved On Dublin Street. I love all the book titles . This is such a wildly popular series.

Since my last WOW I have been catching up on some blog tour reading. It is currently school holidays/break here in Australia for the next two weeks. I have my trio home, so less time for doing my stuff. Which is ok. I hope to get mini-me off to see Divergent this week. She has just finished the book. So we are good to go.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the WOW's that are about this week as often I haven't heard of them.

Happy Reading

FIVE WAYS TO FALL
by
K.A. TUCKER

TEN TINY BREATHS # 4

Releasing : 24th June 2014

Purple-haired, sharp-tongued Reese MacKay knows all about making the wrong choice; she’s made plenty of them in her twenty-odd-years. So when her impulsive, short-lived marriage ends in heartbreak, she decides it’s time for a change. She moves to Miami with the intention of hitting reset on her irresponsible life, and she does quite well…aside from an epically humiliating one-night stand in Cancun with a hot blond bouncer named Ben. Thank God she can get on a plane and leave that mistake behind her.

Football scholarship and frat parties with hot chicks? Part of charmer Ben Morris’s plan. Blown knee that kills any hope of a professional football career? So not part of the plan. Luckily Ben has brains to go with his knockout looks and magnetism. After three long years of balancing law school with his job as a bouncer at Penny’s Palace, he’s ready to lead a more mature life—until his first day of work, when he finds himself in the office of that crazy, hot chick he met in Cancun. The one he hasn’t stopped thinking about.

If Ben truly were a smart guy, he’d stay clear of Reese. She’s the boss’s stepdaughter and it’s been made very clear that office romances are grounds for dismissal. Plus, rumor has it she’s trouble. The only problem is, he likes trouble, especially when it’s so good-looking…

I am looking forward to this one. After reading Ten Tiny Breaths, which I loved, I have just received, One Tiny Lie and For Seconds To Lose from the publisher. I am very excited to binge on these two books in anticipation for Five Ways To Fall.

Since my last WOW, I have been to the Indie Author Down Under event on the Gold Coast. Around three hours drive from me, down south. Met a lot of authors face to face I have spoken to in cyberspace. Abbi Glines and C.M. Stunich and Kelly Elliott made the trip from the US. Lovely to meet them all.

I have a posting up on the event. HERE

I snagged a bed load of swag that I will be putting up every Friday for giveaways.

Play by Kylie Scott - Loved it!

1ST APRIL 2014

J.R. Ward's # 1 New York Times bestselling Black Dagger Brotherhood continues as a royal bloodline is compromised by a grave threat to the throne.
Aussie cover

Long live the King…

After turning his back on the throne for centuries, Wrath, son of Wrath, finally assumed his father’s mantle--with the help of his beloved mate. But the crown sets heavily on his head. As the war with the Lessening Society rages on, and the threat from the Band of Bastards truly hits home, he is forced to make choices that put everything--and everyone--at risk.

Beth Randall thought she knew what she was getting into when she mated the last pure blooded vampire on the planet: An easy ride was not it. But when she decides she wants a child, she’s unprepared for Wrath’s response--or the distance it creates between them.

The question is, will true love win out... or tortured legacy take over?

******

It is J.R. Ward so I am going to love it and it is just around the corner. Black Dagger Brotherhood is one of my favourite Paranormal Romance reads. Lover At Last had so many seeds dropped down for future books. I am so excited to read this one. I am quite a fan of the Aussie covers.

******

Easy was originally a stand a lone and I am bouncy with excitement for Breakable the second book in the now titled series, Contours Of The Heart. If you haven't picked Easy up, I highly recommend it.

Goodreads has over 105,000 ratings with an average of 4.22 stars. Now that is telling you something.

I absolutely adored Lucas and Jacqueline.

Check out an interview I had with Tammara. I am just an all round fan girl when it comes to Tammara and her writing. I simply dig it.

I love the cover models used and the covers always look so romantic and beautiful.

I am uber excited for Breakable.

What are you uber excited for?

BLACK ICE is New York Times bestselling author Becca Fitzpatrick’s riveting romantic thriller set against the treacherous backdrop of the mountains of Wyoming. Falling in love should never be this dangerous…

****

I am rather intrigued by this synopsis. I loved Hush, Hush series. I still have Finale to read. I get funny about last books. I have a whole bag of end of series books to read. I don't want them to end, so I figure if I don't read them, they haven't ended.

Duh!

But, I shall make it my mission this year to read all the usual suspects in YA and Adult I have to complete a series off.

It must be very exciting for Becca to now be writing something completely different.

I love the cover. It makes me feel cold.

Looking forward to this one!!

What are you looking forward to?
