Synopsis

Official Seduce Me ebook

Casey Alexander grew up part of the Ravage Motorcycle family since the day she was abandoned by her mother and thrown into her father’s lap. Always seeing herself as an outsider, she spent her whole life trying to fit in, but never really succeeding. When she loses her beloved father, the utter aloneness engulfs her, leaving her searching for solace in the one man she’s always craved. Confessing her love for him only results in devastation when he pushes her away. Convinced she needs a fresh start, she leaves everything behind in order to mend her broken heart and begin building a future without him.

Gage Thomas (G.T.) Gavelson fell in love with his Angel when he was just a pint sized kid. Both beautiful and smart, he always felt she deserved so much better than him. Growing up beside her in the club only continued to test his will power, until one night, he gave into temptation. Realizing he couldn’t allow himself to hold her back from the life she deserved, he pushed her away, allowing her to believe she would never be enough for him. Letting her go had been the hardest thing he’d ever done. Even though he’d thought it’d been the right thing to do, not a day goes by that misery doesn’t consume him for it.

When a tragic shootout occurs, everything changes as once again their lives are intermingled. When you find your way back to the one person you are meant to be with, forgiveness should be easy. But sometimes, we hurt each other too much to ever be able to forgive.

Is their love strong enough to heal their pain?

Excerpt:

The morning air strikes across my skin as I step out of the clubhouse slowly walking to my car. Ive had to say good-bye to Harlow twice now, but this one is by far the hardest. The weight on my shoulders is bogging me so far down; my legs find each step difficult. I do not want to leave. This is my home, the only life Ive ever known.
And my only connection to my father Bam, but its what must be done.
I place my hand on my stomach closing my eyes and breathing in deep the air rushing through my lungs. Its funny how life repeats itself. I think that its Dr. Phil that says past behavior predicts future behavior and to hell if that isnt the truth.
Walking up to my white and red Chevy, I slide in slowly turning the key into the ignition, the car roaring to life. My eyes focus on the garage and my heart sinks as I slouch in my seat, the weight becoming too much. Hours Ive spent inside that building learning, but the best were the ones I spent with my Dad side by side under the hood of this car. He spent such meticulous time teaching me everything he could, always patient and answering the thousands of questions one at a time. It was the best time of my life.
Growing up in the club had its difficulties, but with each challenge that has been thrown in my face, I came out a stronger woman because of it.
I never knew my egg donor of a mother, who happened to be a club momma. As soon as I popped out of her stomach, she handed me over to Bam and never looked back. I dont even know her name and at this point in my life have no intention of ever finding out.
I rub my stomach and disappointment scatters through my body. How could someone just dump their child and never contact them again? Never want to watch them grow up? The thought is just inconceivable to me.
Even though it doesnt make sense, its what mine did. Bam never had a choice on whether to raise me or not, but I never once felt like a burden on him. True, my life growing up was very different from the life of my other schoolmates, but I loved it and wouldnt change a thing.
For me, being strapped to a Harley before I could walk and attending parties where guys smoked cigarettes, drank booze and kissed barely clothed women was the norm. Watching fights break out over stupid shit almost every single day is the way of the club. Dont get me wrong, I was always cared for, mostly by Bam, but when he was busy, the throng of club mommas entered in and out of my life to temporarily care for me, none ever staying long enough to form any kind of connection to.
Bam was there though as much as he could be. Hed have tea parties with me and play this wrestling tickle game that always sent me into fits of laughter. I loved himI still love him. His life lessons were the best education a little girl could have. I never had to ask him, it was like he knew what I needed when I needed it.
When the time came for boys, he always told me that no man is good enough for my baby. At the time, I rolled my eyes, but now I crave to hear those words come back out of his mouth.
I hang my head down to my chest willing the tears to stay at bay. I will not cry. Im stronger than that.
Bam was able to do it, raise me that is. Even with the struggles, he did it. I can too, but in order to, I need to get away from here and find out who I am. I need to do better for myself and for my baby, my family. I want a life here, but unfortunately that is not possible right now. Its not my choice, but that of my babys father.
Even though he doesnt know about this precious gift I have growing inside of me, hes made it perfectly clear that he doesnt want a life with me anywhere in it.  It seems hes too interested in chasing pussy to ever settle for just one. It guts me and shreds my heart that Im not good enough. But Im learning to accept it, even if it kills me.  He left little room not to.
But I need to get myself together and stop with the ever impending pity party of poor me. I am not a poor me kind of woman. Thanks to Bam, Im a grab life by the balls, deal with the consequences and make myself a future kind of a woman. That is what I am doing by leaving. I have every intention of coming back, every intention of introducing my child to his father and every intention of making my relationship with Harlow work. As soon as I have my head on straight.
Lifting my shoulders, I put the car into drive and set off for the new life that I have planned for my baby and I.

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:

I’ve been getting into the MC genre of late and enjoying it. It’s different. It’s a harder life and it does come with its sexist behavior, but I just got to suck that up. The MC world are rule breakers, a law unto their own. They look after their own. It’s rare they will give a second chance to somebody. If you f*&ck up, you are pretty much dead.

Harlow aka Princess is the daughter of the Vice President of the Ravage MC’s. You get one hell of an introduction to this chick who is stepping straight out of prison and can’t wait to ride her man.

O.M.G.

* eyes boggle *

Gotta say I haven’t read a scene like that before.

I may have a pussy, but I ain’t one. I’ve got bigger balls than most guys out there. Even though I’ll never be a member of the club, because it’s not possible, I always hold my head up high. I learned at a very young age that bitches didn’t ever get patched in, and I accepted that, but I’d be damned if I acted like some pussy motorcycle club princess.

Speaking of balls, she is also a real ball buster... pun intended.

Ravage Me had me really liking Princess in the start and her attitude, she doesn’t take shit, but she knows when enough is enough and what lines not to cross.

Until...

I think maybe she went too far. Too much information for my eyes. I would be frightened to be her friend, I think. When she has revenge on the brain, holy shiz!

Without a doubt this is a gritty read and very violent in parts. Makes me frightened to look at a MC guy or woman, cause, shiz in this book... let's just say there was some pretty fierce stuff going on.

I got to say , knowing my cousin thirty plus years ago was involved with a motorcycle club, has me wondering what part she played in it.

Hell, girl!

I know she walked out with a baby.

Cruz is a smexi, tough, takes what he wants character. I really liked him in this MC read.

“I love you,” I whispered so softly I didn’t think he could hear me, not knowing what his reaction might be.

“Thank fuck, Baby.” He lifted his body up, looking me in the eyes, the passion and love permeating through them. “I love you, too, Baby. Just you.”

Sometimes I did think Princess’s character was a little too strong. She may have out shone Cruz, but she is a tough chick.

Did I just say that? I do like my chicks strong, but...

She was quite blokey in her attitude, sometimes, but then we got glimpses of her more vulnerable side too.

If I wasn’t woman enough for my man, he didn’t need to be mine.

She is fierce, she knows how to throw a punch and shoot straight, she knows how to exact revenge.

I gotta say my boobies were feeling one scene. GAHHHHhHHH!!! I don’t mean a good feeling, either.

Sometimes I did feel like I was the one sitting at home figuring stuff out, but...then I got an awesome twist.

Hell.Yeah!

Loved that twist.

Then, I think the story got real graphic in my head and I wasn’t sure if I got to much information for my little head to cope with. That visual was nasssty.

We like to romanticize MC life and the caveman attitude of the guy. I’m still trying to decide how I feel about this first installment in the series. It certainly is a fast paced read with the shiz that was flying about.

Yes, I got a tough chick who sometimes confuzed me a bit with her attitude changes, but she is a stand out memorable character.

Yes, it is a gritty violent read that crossed a line in my head, when it comes to the law. We have the law to keep citizens behaving, but in this read, by the time I got to the end, I was a little muddy who was right and wrong and revenge and... and...sure that should never have happened, but then...gahhhh.

All I will say is it certainly is a memorable read. I'm looking forward to Seduce Me, G.T and Casey's story which is up next .

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:

I’ve been wanting to start this series ever since I read Bella Jewel’s, MC Sinner’s series. I am relatively new to the MC genre and what it all entails.

An MC life is a very different life to having yourself a Harley and calling yourself a biker.

An MC life is hard, they break the law, they are governed by their own rules. The women I am beginning to understand the more I read.

It is not a life for me.

It seems like a life that has you watching your back, a lot.

Our main characters, in Joanna’s tale are Horse and Marie.

With a name like Horse, one can pretty much assume why he got that name.

*waggles eyebrows*

Horse, is a rather well endowed guy. Ex marine now running with the Reaper’s.

Tall, built, with shoulder-length hair he kept pulled back in a ponytail, and thick black stubble on his face. Stark, tribal cuffs ringed his wrists and upper arms. And what a face... Horse was handsome, like a movie star handsome.

Horse kept surprising me. He was a tough, take no shit biker, who knows how to use a gun, but I got glimpses of a guy that was maybe showing us a little of his pre Afghan days.

Horse is a very likable, smexi character. He brings it.

For Marie’s age, she is a decidedly clueless and naive, woman. I am not sure how I feel about Marie aka sweet butt. Horse can't keep his eyes off her.

“You don’t know much about the Reaper’s, do you? Or motorcycle clubs in general?”

“I don’t know anything about them,” I said.

“Well, biker-bikers like us, part of a club for life -- are a different culture,” he said after a short pause. “We’re not regular citizens, we’re more like a tribe that shares territory with citizens but only answers to our own kind. Everyone who’s part of the tribe has their place.”

“Okay,” I replied, wondering where this was going.

“Fuck, this is gonna piss you off and then you aren’t gonna let me stick my dick in you,” he muttered.

“Do you have to be so crude?” I snapped.

“Have you met me?”

“Who says I’d let you do it anyway?”

“Babe,” he replied in a low, rough voice, raising his eyebrow at me. I blushed. Okay, yes, I’d planned on it.

I did sympathize with her, sometimes.

“You there, sweet butt?” he called. I opened the door and his eyes went straight to my chest.

“Don’t call me sweet butt,” I snapped at him and he grinned, reaching out a finger to poke my nose.

“Bitchy, aren’t we?”

“Rude, aren’t we?”

“Always.”

Jeff, Marie’s brother who has taken it upon himself to tango financially with this biker gang, which never ends well, is the reason Marie is forced to leave with Horse.

She needs to keep him alive.

But can she?

Horse has his gentle side and he has his rough side. He is loyal to the Reaper’s, but, he has a thing for Marie.

“I’ve never ridden a bike before.”

Horse leaned over and gave me a quick kiss on the mouth.

“Lookin’ forward to being your first, babe.”

What I really liked in this read was Joanna took the time to let her character explain a biker club.

“Well, there’s two kinds of people, those who are in the club and those who aren’t,” he said. “If you’re in the club, you’re family, and we’ve got each other’s backs. You got a cut and three patches, you’re a member and you vote. We got prospects too, who aren’t full members yet, but if they don’t punk out, they will be eventually.”

“What about women?”

“No women in the club,” he said, shaking his head. “Women hang around the club, but they aren’t part of it.”

“Sounds pretty sexist.”

“It is what it is,” he replied with a shrug. “Don’t have to like it, but that’s the reality in the MC world. Remember, we don’t live in your world, we live in ours and the rules are different. Some clubs let women ride, ours doesn’t. We’re old school. Seriously old school. But that doesn’t mean women aren’t important to us.”

“A man takes a woman, means to keep her, she becomes his property,” Horse continued. “We covered that before- it’s a sign of commitment, of respect. It means he’ll protect her and everyone else better keep their fucking hands off her or be ready to fight him and all his brothers. You do not want to fuck with a man’s old lady.”

“Sounds messed up, Horse.”

He shook his head, clearly frustrated.

“You’re judging it by citizen standards, but we’re not like you,” he said. “Remember, we’re a tribe. We live together, we die together and what’s ours is ours. When times are good, we’re all good. Bad times, we may eat shit but we eat it together. Most people can’t handle that level of commitment. It’s like when you are in combat and taking fire-- you have to trust that your brothers would rather die than let you down. You feel that kind of brotherhood during war but when you come back home people expect you to sit down and work in an office like it never happened. Men-- at least men like me -- don’t work like that. I turned into something else in Afghanistan and I can’t just pretend it didin’t happen. In the club, they don’t ask me to.”

“That’s intense,” I murmured.

“No shit,” he said. “I know this is hard for you, but I want you to understand...”

Now, I know that was a long quote I snatched from Reaper’s Property, but I felt like Horse was talking to me. I have that little bit more understanding of why the guys are in a biker club and how they look at themselves.

The drug running and businesses keep them afloat.

I still have trouble with the female side of it, the whores and how they are treated. Reaper’s club is no exception with the sweet butts and life these girls put upon themselves, but each to their own.

This is what a motorcycle club comes with.

Whores! Whores who get shared. Whores who get shared with a line up of doodles waiting for entry.

If ya don't like it. Don't read it.

I liked Joanna explained what ‘old lady’, really means.

Now I understand, ‘old lady’ is a term of respect. Before it used to bug the shiz out of me. I think I took offence to the word 'old'.

I am a Curious George about this genre. I think Joanna did a really great job of this first book in the series. Marie is still a bit of a question mark for me, but I enjoyed Joanna's tale.

This is a story with sex, violence, beefy lads with MC names, old ladies, whores, drugs.

BUT!!

It is a motorcycle club. We must not forget that.

I am looking forward to reading Reaper's Legacy next.

Blurb: Goodreads

With each passing year, Kidd's feelings for Ice grows and the urge to make her his becomes stronger. Frustrated and jealous, he finally decides it’s time to make her his.

Will Ice finally thaw out and give love a chance, or is Kidd fighting a losing battle?

WARNING: Renegade Lady contains adult situations some readers may find offensive. This is a raw and gritty story involving explicit sex, graphic language, violence and drug use. Not intended for readers under 18.

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:

The writing duo of Dawn and Emily have certainly written a gritty, more realistic world of a motorcycle club.

This is not a crocheted doilie life for a woman in one of these clubs.

Jenna, at the tender age of sixteen has become the property of Timmons in the Mateland charter of the Renegade Sons. He is a piece of shiz and the club is breaking all the rules.

Enter Chipper. He finds Jenna, all kinds of beat up and abused and rescues her, taking her to Big Clifty charter. Chipper and his wife, Mindy , make Jenna their own.

Enter Kidd, the son of Gun aka Pop, the President of Big Clifty Renegade Sons. Kidd is ten years older than Jenna and he has his eye on her, straight away.

But there is an age gap and she is too young. He treats her like his sister, until she turns eighteen and then he wants to claim her.

Their friendship turns into a train wreck and years get wasted on hurt feelings and love lost, whoring and more hurt feelings.

Timmons hasn’t forgotten about Jenna. This ass wipe wants her back.

We watch Jenna turn into Ice, a hard woman to crack. She takes over some responsibilities at the club.

The young, sweet Jenna has left the building, in her place is a tough talking, gun wielding woman.

I have to tell you, an MC is not a place for this blogging chick. The term, ‘old lady’ really grates on my nerves. I know it is what MC members call their woman, but it feels like women are disempowered in a motorcycle club.

This story is very gritty, and the guys running the show are a law unto themselves. If one of the club whores, or old ladys steps out of line, eh, we shall knock her off. Same with the club guys.

What a life!!

It sounds so hard and full of rules and drama between other clubs and members.

A tough life.

I really felt for the women that live these lives. They often truly love their man, but it seems such a step back in time for these ladies.

Chipper and Mindy gave me hope that there are couples that respect each other to the core, but then there are the guys that do whatever they want, when they have an old lady.

This is a life that only certain women could hold down. I think they would be as tough as nails, I do take my hat off to them as I know I could not live such a dangerous life.

Mindy and Chipper are definitely the softer part of this story, that I needed when reading Renegade Lady. Their love for each other and their love for Jenna is moving.

You can’t be offended by the grit in this story, because this is a motorcycle club world. It is a hard, play by the rules, or else, life. It is gun running, drug dealing, whores, sharing women, strippers and death.

I like a tatted guy and the idea of riding off into the sunset on a Harley, but that is a far cry from what goes on in these clubs.

Romance is a whole different thing in these clubs.

This is a gritty tale that opened my eyes up that bit more to what goes on in a MC. Once you are in , you watch your mouth, if you are a woman, you spread your legs and you get to be one tough chick.

Bad shit happens.

You have to deal with it.

This was one of the more gritty MC reads I have read to date and I enjoyed this writing duo's telling. I have yet to read Madeline Sheehan's Undeniable series, I KNOW it is much darker and Joanna Wylde's Reaper's MC. I think I have been working my way up to some Madeline because I know her story has a lot of her life in it.

For fans of MC genre, you won't be disappointed with this gritty tale.

As soon as the words leave my mouth, Kidd grabs my hands and pulls me flush against his body. "No fucking way, baby. If you give me your heart, lay it right in my hands. I promise I will protect it until the day I die."

Her debut book Tears of Tess will be followed with Quintessentially Q. You didn’t think Q could stop so soon, did you? Her other two titles, Last Shadow and Broken Chance will be coming soon.
