BOOK REVIEW:

The third book in the series I personally think is the best so far. Quinn is just delicious in this great little YA series.

Hunter Wild is Helios Ra, a vampire slayer who is very close to Kieran almost like brother and sister. Times are changing. Hunter has been invited to the secret  Coronation of Queen Helena , much to her surprise.

Playboy Quinn has noticed Hunter and can't help but pop up when she needs help, even though Hunter can handle herself without any help, especially from a vampire, her sworn enemy. Even when she REALLY!! needs help.

Chloe is Hunter's roomie at the Helios-Ra Academy and all is not what it seems at the Academy. Students are getting ill, dying. Chloe is having terrible mood swings. Hel-Blar are popping up causing trouble, being baited.

I love Quinn's nickname for Hunter and in return her nickname for Quinn.

Lucy is still rather hilarious in her disregard for the dangerous side of hanging out with the Drake boys and Solange. Solange newly changed, is blood thirsty so Lucy must be locked up for her own safety. New characters get introduced. I love Spencer and Jason:D

Nice little twist in this story. I am looking forward to the next installment. My bet is it will be Connor and Chloe.....just a thought:D

BOOK REVIEW:
 
'Blood Feud', is the 2nd book in The Drake Chronicles series. I really enjoyed reading it. Again a great little YA read.
 
This book is Isabeau St. Croix's story and Logan is there for her.  Isabeau is a Cwn Mamau , a handmaiden to Kala the Hound Shamanka. Isabeau is driven by her revenge for the man who left her in a coffin for over 200 years, saved by Kala's Hounds.
 
Helena is to be the new Queen of the Vampires and needs  to keep the peace that is wavering between the tribes and not be assassinated before the Coronation ceremony.
 
Kieran strikes again with his Hypnos. A rather funny scene.
 
Isabeau's dreamwalking can help them  if she isn't left in limbo, separated from her body forever.
 
Logan has never made a pirate shirt and velvet jacket look so smexi. He is instantly attracted to Isabeau and will do what it takes to save his family and Isabeau.
 
Another great adventure with Lucy stuck locked in the closet at the farm to keep her safe...lol!!! ( naughty Nicholas)

I've included the 2 book covers for the first book in The Drake Chronicles series.
'Hearts At Stake' , kinda makes more sense to me after reading it.

I enjoyed this book very much. It was a great little YA read. Easily read in one sitting due to it's size.

Lucy has known Solange and her 7 brothers her whole life. She has grown up knowing they will eventually make the bloodchange into Vampires, one by one. Solange is the last to make the bloodchange and the only daughter of Liam and Helena Drake.

Lucy is human and hangs out with the Drake family at their farmhouse. Solange's over protective brothers, Nicholas, Logan, twins Connor and Quinn, Sebastian, Marcus and Duncan, have their hands full protecting Solange from being killed or kidnapped. Lucy is a bit too casual/reckless about her friendship with Solange and needs to be kept in check for Solange's safety.

The reigning vampire Queen, Lady Natasha,  was once Monmartre's second in command and lover, until he tired of her. Monmartre wants Solange for his own and together with his creations the Hel Bar and the Host, endeavours to woo with gifts and kidnap Solange , killing whoever gets in his way. The Queen isn't too happy with Solange due to a Prophecy.

Kieran Black of the Helios Ra, finds himself amongst the politics and has to decide if Solange is worth capturing or saving.

Nicholas has to keep Lucy on a tight rein from her reckless/ well meaning  behaviour.

Solange will make her bloodchange on her 16th birthday which is days away but will she be able to stay protected and out of harms way until it happens??
