Byt Sawyer won't be alone for long - not of Ashton's cousin Lana has her way. Lana's grown up to be a pouting femme fatale and she wants Sawyer, real bad.

But deep down, will Lana ever feel good enough to compete with Ashton in Sawyer's eyes? She's red hot, but inside Lana's still the shy geeky girl she used to be.

Lana's gonna need all her sexy powers of persuasion to make this gorgeous Vincent boy her man ...

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:

“You. Own. Me.”

Beau and Sawyer......what is a girl to do?

I loved Beau in The Vincent Boys, I still love Beau, but I thought Abbi wrote book 2, better.

Now don’t go throwing anything at me people, just one opinion here.

Abbi went and took Sawyer places I didn’t think the lad could go after reading The Vincent Boys. I mean he was very squeaky and nice. Nothing wrong with that! But put him up against Beau in book # 1 and Beau wins.

Now, he has taken on some Beauisms J

Sawyer got a little bit bad boy.

“I made a mistake, okay. I’m allowed to screw up. You all accuse me of putting Ash on a pedestal. Well maybe y’all have me on one too. Back off.”

Beau still wins as he still brought it in this installment, but he was more ready for a protective word and a staying hand on Sawyer’s shoulder, and a few words of warning for Sawyer.

“Careful, Sawyer.” The threat in Beau’s voice was unmistakable. Silence fell over the group. Everyone’s focus was on the two of us. The anger flashing in Beau’s glare pissed me off. What did he have to be angry about? He had the girl.

“About tonight. Don’t do that again. It’s been six months and Ashton goes out of her way to be kind to you. You talk to her that way again and I’m gonna kick your ass.”

“I promised Ash I wouldn’t knock some sense into you tonight. Don’t make me break that promise.”

“Look, bro, I get it. You love her. I know the feeling real well. But crying like a fucking pussy ain’t gonna do one bit of good. We have to find her. It takes big boys to do that.”

Sawyer! OMG ! The lad went all growly and Alpha in this book and a bit dead sexy. I really liked the story of The Vincent Brothers that bit better than, The Vincent Boys # 1.

I am still Team Beau, if I had to choose only one, but I loved what Abbi did with Sawyer.

This was a definite New Adult read.

Holy mac and cheese!

The 'no sex', sex scene.... Lordy!! Get the fans out for that one.

I loved watching Sawyer discover his feelings, outside of his Ashton fascination. I thought that was brilliant. All this boy knew was Ash, Ash, Ash! It was like he had tunnel vision .... only Ash.

He didn’t know how to behave without...Ashton.

He didn’t know how to ‘feel’, without Ashton.

“Once , not too long ago, you were the good brother. You were careful with everyone’s feelings. It was fucking ridiculous how polite and thoughtful you were. You’ve changed, man. Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I miss that guy. He was someone I always admired. I couldn’t be proud of my choices but I was always so damn proud of yours.”

I really liked Lana, maybe more than Ashton?? I felt she had more depth to her character. She was broken on the inside with her parents and dad's mid life crisis. Untrusting...yet she found Ethan, somebody she wanted to trust. I am glad she could do that. He felt a bit random that she chose him, but she did. Sawyer needed to be her 'go to' guy. Her rock.

He learns.

Jewel, she is a bit of a hoot. I think she is a friend you have in smaller doses, lol!

The thing with Beau is, he used girls for random sex to get through his feelings for Ash, when Sawyer and she were dating.

Sawyer didn’t use anybody after his break up. He had only known the Beau, Ash, Sawyer triangle of friendship. Then it became the Sawyer and Ash, relationship. Beau got pushed out. He held his hurt and used it up by having sex with willing girls, lined up.

Take a number!

Lana comes onto Sawyer’s radar and he has no idea what he is feeling.

How to use it?

How not to hurt Lana.

How not to get hurt himself.

“You feel real good, Lana. Makes me forget everything else,” he murmured as his hand cupped the back of my head and gently guided my mouth to his.

“.... I’m not sure what it is but when I’m with you, I feel something I’ve never felt before. I do want you. Bad. It surprises me and scares the shit out of me....”

He is a repeat offender.

“I’m not in danger of falling in love with someone like Lana. She’s a distraction....”

When Sawyer let go of his Ashton fascination for a while, he was awesome to watch. He put his thoughtless guy name tag away and became this, uber sexy guy.

“I know Lana has you hot and bothered. If the girl crooked her finger your way you’d have her pressed up against the first hard surface you could find.”

I loved the ending to this book. It was a closure that I really enjoyed. I even got a bit girlie...shed a few tears.

Yes, a Beau and Sawyer sandwich , kinda sounds yummy J

“You think I’m a better choice than Beau? He’s the bad one, you know. The dangerous one. Girls like bad boys.”

I have put some music from this book into my review. Sometimes I wasn't allowed to share the code.
