RELEASE DATE : 1ST SEPTEMBER 2014

SHATTERED

A firey, action-packed installment in Mari Mancusi’s heart-pounding Scorched trilogy.

Trinity, Connor, and Caleb are trying to stay under the radar, holed up in an abandoned West Texas farmhouse. Their only problem is Emmy: a baby dragon that’s growing like crazy. When Emmy is caught on tape and the video goes viral, they find themselves on the run again. Their only hope comes from an old map leading to a man who has come from the future to help them. But with the government hot on their heels and Caleb’s growing addiction to spending time in the Nether world, will they be able to reach him in time? And will keeping Emmy safe end up being too high a price for Trinity to pay?

GIVEAWAY

Trinity

Don’t leave me here... It starts with a whisper. At first Trinity thinks she’s going crazy. It wouldn’t be a big surprise—her grandpa firmly believes there’s a genuine dragon egg in their dusty little West Texas town. But this voice is real, and it’s begging for her protection. Even if no one else can hear it...

Connor

He’s come from a future scorched by dragonfire. His mission: Find the girl. Destroy the egg. Save the world.

Caleb

He’s everything his twin brother Connor hates: cocky, undisciplined, and obsessed with saving dragons.

Trinity has no idea which brother to believe. All she has to go by is the voice in her head—a dragon that won’t be tamed.

  1. I've been wanting to read Scorched for a while. Any book with dragons in it catches my attention, and then it seems that Trinity has a dilemma of which brother to believe, so even more intriguing. It sounds like a fantastic read! :D

  2. It's 2 really nice covers and I confess I'm a little curious about the first one, I love to read about dragons.

  3. I have no idea. I just have always loved them. I have them all over the house in statues and plates and paintings. T-shirts, pendants and even a kilted, bagpipe playing tattoo of 1 on my left shoulder.
