A new chapter in the New York Times bestselling Morganville Vampires saga.

Vampire musician Michael Glass has attracted the attention of a big- time producer who wants to cut a demo and play some gigs-which means Michael will have to enter the human world. For this, he's been assigned escorts that include both a dangerous immortal as well as Michael's all-too-human friends. And with that mix of personalities, this is going to be a road trip from hell...

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle :

I am back on my marathon of MV. I slid straight back into the town of Morganville and all the characters that make this series such fun to read. This is wonderful addictive YA.

Myrnin was noticeably absent. I love this crazy , genius , scarey, crazy, sometimes down right dangerous, vampire. We get a bit of Myrnin ......... BOL!! or should I be a bit ugh!??

It’s hard to tell with Myrnin, as he is always very serious about his brainy ideas, and this one is a bit more brain than a good idea.

No vampire bunny slippers in sight L

We are left with that thought in mind as the story takes us this time outside of Morganville.

ROAD TRIP!!!

The hotties Michael and Shane, Goth Eve and super smart Claire, are escorted by Oliver, the hippie looking, uber old and dangerous vampire ,outside the town limits on a road trip to get Michael to a recording studio. Amelie has agreed to allow them all to leave , the passes are good for up to a week, and Oliver comes with the passes to freedom as part of the road trip crew.

Oliver takes them via a pit stop for some ‘do not ask’ business and it all goes to the pooper.

Quite frankly I think they were safer, and that is saying something, inside the town of Morganville, and all the goings on, than outside of it. Humans and laws can be a dangerous place.

Not to mention the ..............

Shane and Michael find themselves trying to protect the girls. Michael is just so darn smexi, and Shane is the hottie with the humorous dialogue........ then Michael is just so darn smexi, ( yes , I did repeat that)  with Eve....and that kissing scene....you will know the one. I would love to hear Michael play his guitar and hear him sing. That is one thing I find hard when reading a book, when the character you have connected with plays an instrument and sings and you can’t hear it but you know he is awesome because the other characters tell you. It’s quite a tease

Monica and her minions are still...well.... Monica and her minions. Some things don’t change. She is always good value, kind of a walking manual for what you don’t want to behave like. She somehow never quite manages to sound intelligent. Just mean.

I love Eve and the errrrr.....’Fate’ she has been dealt. Very cool in a bit of a creepy way, but very Eve suited. I do love Eve. I would just love to be able to break out the clothes she wears as she just does it Eve style and I commend people for doing it their way without any apologies. Although, I do believe she blended a bit better in Morganville. Toning Eve down is messing with what I look forward to reading. I love living vicariously through Eve’s clothing world.

Just a cool chick. Plus she has Michael. *waggles eyebrows*

I’m back on my horse and riding back into Morganville for Ghost Town # 9 and hopefully Myrnin and Claire work out their difference of opinion on that brainy idea Myrnin came up with.

Hmmmm, I’m with Claire J
