Last weekend I went and saw Mutemath play a gig in Perth, Western Australia. WOW! Even more awesome live than I ever imagined!

So I thought "How can I rave about it on the blog?" Easy - TWILIGHT!!
A few of my friends were like - "Who's Mutemath?" so the best I could describe to these people is........
In the movie Twilight, when Edward & Bella arrive at school together for the first time in Edwards car....the song that is playing in the background is called Spotlight by Mutemath. Light bulbs click on all over the place and I am presented with "oooh I love that song - I have the soundtrack"!!
So yes...there is so much more to Mutemath than just that song and I was so lucky to be right up the front in groping distance of guitarist Todd Gummerman and lead singer Paul Meaney.

I didn't realise they were playing in Perth or I would have gone!
ReplyDeleteOMG - it was fantastic! I hate to say it but you missed out on a great gig! Being at Amplifier was the perfect venue and they just get so involved with the crowd :)
