Goodreads Description:
Nara Collins is an average sixteen-year-old, with one exception: every night she dreams the events of the following day. Due to an incident in her past, Nara avoids using her special gift to change fate…until she dreams a future she can’t ignore.

After Nara prevents a bombing at Blue Ridge High, her ability to see the future starts to fade, while people at school are suddenly being injured at an unusually high rate.

Grappling with her diminishing powers and the need to prevent another disaster, Nara meets Ethan Harris, a mysterious loner who seems to understand her better than anyone. Ethan and Nara forge an irresistible connection, but as their relationship heats up, so do her questions about his dark past.

REVIEW:
Thanks to PT Michelle for concreting in me the knowledge that self published authors can be GREAT! Whether through personal choice or not......why hasn't this been published by the bigwigs of the book world?  It would be well worth the investment.
PT has given us a paranormal book which is not focused on being a fae creature or the likes.....but of a mental talent.

Nara's ability to dream the activities of the following day are a curse and blessing rolled into one!  Nara has learnt to deal with the average daily portions of the dreams - it's just when she views disasters or accidents, etc that she must have the strength to not intervene.......she has done this once before and it ended in disaster.  She's about to do it again - and meddling with a future that has already been written can only have consequences......it's just whether they are good, bad or worse than originally planned.

Ethan is the boy wonder love interest in this story. He's not the most popular, or the most good looking and some are even scared of him!  The relationship between Ethan and Nara grows from one of avoidance to one of love - but it's not overnight or instant.  He is strong minded, hot tempered, protective of Nara and of similar mental ability to her as well.

Brightest Kind of Darkness has twists & turns, romance and a whole lotta action......Nara is certainly on "Fates" bad side and Fate wants revenge!!

As for the cover.....the cover to me (of any book) plays a huge part in capturing my attention.....and this cover is gorgeous!!

ENJOY!
