Jenna “Ice” Chandler grew up as part of a motorcycle club. She considered it her home, until one wrong move made it her prison. After months of abuse, she is rescued by Chipper, who takes her to Big Clifty, Missouri, home of the Renegade Sons MC.
Kiddrick “Kidd” Jones is the president of the Renegades. He knows there is something special about Ice the moment his older brother, Chipper, brings her into the club, but stays away, because she is too young.
When time comes for Ice to take her place in the club, she has two choices, become an old lady or a club whore. Not believing in love and knowing a man can never be faithful, she decides to earn her spot on her back.
With each passing year, Kidd's feelings for Ice grows and the urge to make her his becomes stronger. Frustrated and jealous, he finally decides it’s time to make her his.
Will Ice finally thaw out and give love a chance, or is Kidd fighting a losing battle?
WARNING: Renegade Lady contains adult situations some readers may find offensive. This is a raw and gritty story involving explicit sex, graphic language, violence and drug use. Not intended for readers under 18.
BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:
The writing duo of Dawn and Emily have certainly written a gritty, more realistic world of a motorcycle club.
This is not a crocheted doilie life for a woman in one of these clubs.
Jenna, at the tender age of sixteen has become the property of Timmons in the Mateland charter of the Renegade Sons. He is a piece of shiz and the club is breaking all the rules.
Enter Chipper. He finds Jenna, all kinds of beat up and abused and rescues her, taking her to Big Clifty charter. Chipper and his wife, Mindy , make Jenna their own.
Enter Kidd, the son of Gun aka Pop, the President of Big Clifty Renegade Sons. Kidd is ten years older than Jenna and he has his eye on her, straight away.
But there is an age gap and she is too young. He treats her like his sister, until she turns eighteen and then he wants to claim her.
Their friendship turns into a train wreck and years get wasted on hurt feelings and love lost, whoring and more hurt feelings.
Timmons hasn’t forgotten about Jenna. This ass wipe wants her back.
We watch Jenna turn into Ice, a hard woman to crack. She takes over some responsibilities at the club.
The young, sweet Jenna has left the building, in her place is a tough talking, gun wielding woman.
I have to tell you, an MC is not a place for this blogging chick. The term, ‘old lady’ really grates on my nerves. I know it is what MC members call their woman, but it feels like women are disempowered in a motorcycle club.
This story is very gritty, and the guys running the show are a law unto themselves. If one of the club whores, or old ladys steps out of line, eh, we shall knock her off. Same with the club guys.
What a life!!
It sounds so hard and full of rules and drama between other clubs and members.
A tough life.
I really felt for the women that live these lives. They often truly love their man, but it seems such a step back in time for these ladies.
Chipper and Mindy gave me hope that there are couples that respect each other to the core, but then there are the guys that do whatever they want, when they have an old lady.
This is a life that only certain women could hold down. I think they would be as tough as nails, I do take my hat off to them as I know I could not live such a dangerous life.
Mindy and Chipper are definitely the softer part of this story, that I needed when reading Renegade Lady. Their love for each other and their love for Jenna is moving.
You can’t be offended by the grit in this story, because this is a motorcycle club world. It is a hard, play by the rules, or else, life. It is gun running, drug dealing, whores, sharing women, strippers and death.
I like a tatted guy and the idea of riding off into the sunset on a Harley, but that is a far cry from what goes on in these clubs.
Romance is a whole different thing in these clubs.
This is a gritty tale that opened my eyes up that bit more to what goes on in a MC. Once you are in , you watch your mouth, if you are a woman, you spread your legs and you get to be one tough chick.
Bad shit happens.
You have to deal with it.
This was one of the more gritty MC reads I have read to date and I enjoyed this writing duo's telling. I have yet to read Madeline Sheehan's Undeniable series, I KNOW it is much darker and Joanna Wylde's Reaper's MC. I think I have been working my way up to some Madeline because I know her story has a lot of her life in it.

As soon as the words leave my mouth, Kidd grabs my hands and pulls me flush against his body. "No fucking way, baby. If you give me your heart, lay it right in my hands. I promise I will protect it until the day I die."
