I wanted to jump.
He made me fall.

As a celebrity, I lived in the public eye, but somewhere along the way, I’d lost myself in the spotlight.

Until he found me.

Sam Rivers was a gorgeous, tattooed stranger who saved my life with nothing more than a simple conversation.

But we were both standing on that bridge for a reason the night we met. The secrets of our pasts brought us together—and then tore us apart.

Could we find a reason to hold on as life constantly pulled us down?

Or maybe there’s only one direction to go when two people fall in love at rock bottom—up.

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:

Firstly, how eye catching is the cover art?

Brilliant!

Beautiful!

Amazing!

I had no idea from the blurb that this book was going to hit a trigger with me. I've never understood triggers because I've never had any.

Was I ready to continue?

I took a leap of faith and carried on. The subject matter Aly handled well. I connected with Sam on a level I wish I didn’t have a front row seat at.

Levee the pop star meets Sam on a bridge one night.

And there begins the story of two people with more in common than they thought, and one gay, sexy bff sub character named Henry who is a superstar in his own right. Funny, lovable and will always be there for his BFF.

I have to throw Henry in because he is worth a mention. So worthy he gets promoted to lead character in his own book, The Spiral Down and it’s now released.

This was a lighter book in places and for those more demanding areas...sometimes I had to read through my fingers, so to speak.

Sam is absolutely gorgeous. He is why I kept on reading.

“My name is Samuel Nathan Rivers. I’m twenty seven. Aquarius. No criminal history. I have a clean bill of health. I’m a democrat, but for God’s sake, do not tell my mom. I own a furniture shop and clear six figures a year.”

He is tattooed, a heavy smoker and has a big heart. He repurposes things to make furniture and I LOVED that about him. He is such a cool guy and so creative.

The man knows how to talk to a woman with wit and past experience.

Love has a way of healing some wounds and some are a life sentence you simply have to learn to live with.

The Fall Up will have you swooning for a guy who knows how to use his hands and rooting for a girl who needed a man like Sam in her life.

This was my first Aly M read and I really enjoyed Sam...I mean the story.
