BOOK REVIEW - FOUR SCORE by LILI ST. GERMAIN - GYPSY BROTHERS # 4 - DARK BIKER ROMANCE

Released : Available
Details: Kindle, 88 Pages

RATING: 5 GRITTY STARS !

Blurb: Goodreads

Love and hate aren’t all that different.

Two sides of the same coin, the yin and the yang.

Once upon a time, Jason Ross loved me. And now that he knows what I’ve done, I see the love and the hate warring within him.

I see the way he looks at me.

The way he wonders how I could do the things I’ve done.

I hear it in the way he begs me to stop, to leave this life and run away with him.

But there’s only one way I’m leaving LA.

And that’ll be when Dornan and the rest of his sons are dead and buried.

Jase might forgive me for what I’ve done.

But will he forgive me for the crimes I’m yet to commit?

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:

“It’s not the scars on my skin that hurt,”I whisper.

“It’s the ones inside my mind.”

It is very difficult to review this installment in the Gypsy Brothers series without giving anything away.

Please make sure you read this serial in ORDER.

Jase and Sammi share the limelight, with Elliot throwing in some tough love.

Five Miles and Four Score, for me personally, were the installments that validated Lili’s story line, for me, when it comes to what happens in Seven Sons. I hope I made sense there?

I needed to get deeper into what was underneath with Jase and Sammi and I got that. I am so happy with the direction Lili took me in these two installments.

I am afraid.

There, I said it.

Terrified, anxious, strung out, waiting for my lies and my past to come crashing down around me.

That, once Dornan is finally dead, I still won’t feel any different.

That I’ll still be the ghost girl who’s dead inside.

Sometimes that fear is almost too much to bear.

Jesus. I can’t even process what Jase must think of me.

Four Score is one of the smaller books in the serial and I got so much from it.

Not to mention that O.M.G. ending.

It will literally leave you with your mouth gaping open.

This is why I read this serial in groups of two because , dang with an ending like that...!

Holy shiz, Batman.

Lili is a pleasure to read, she delivers gritty and she gives me a thrill with what she lets her characters go through.

Sometimes it ain’t pretty.

Dornan is evil.

Dornan is a true villain.

He’s walks the walk.

Talks the talk.

He is freakin’ frightening when he is looking in your direction.

You don’t want to be on his radar.

Sammi puts herself in his direct line of fire.

She waves the red flag in front of the bull, it just takes a while for him to notice it.

I got my questions answered, or near enough to stop my curiosity being prodded, when it came to a few things about Jase.

“Nobody saved me,” he says bitterly.

I had questions that started with, ‘Why didn’t you...’

Lili set me straight.

Elliot asks the tough questions. He wants answers.

“She’s been under your nose for a few months. Your father and your brothers? They’ve been under your nose for six fucking years. And you haven’t tried to get away? You haven’t tried to kill any of them?

I needed to hear some things.

“What I want to know is why haven’t you killed him yet?”

The ending has me reaching for Three Years, but I am gonna wait until Two Roads releases September 28th 2014.

I need me a couple of these to read in a row.

If I can wait?

Gritty, intense and deeper, this installment will knock you for a six by the time you get to the end of it and oh, how I saw that play out in my head.

Quick reads that pack a punch.
