COVER DESIGNER ARTIST PROMO - JEMINA VENTER

I have a treat for you today. I am letting out my little secret, I have written a book and I had to look for a cover designer. I wanted something a little different and a little original. I had noticed this artist on facebook. I finally got talking to her about doing a set of covers for me and other little projects.

I want to welcome to Novels On The Run a very talented artist by the name of Jemina Venter.

Take a bow Miss Jemina.

She is a very, very easy person to chat to, she is as talented as she is uber nice. We just clicked from the start. I skyped her, all a ball of nerves as this was my first foray into discussing art for a series of books.

She has continued to blow my mind with everything I threw at her. I had a vision and she got me. She got what I wanted to achieve over a series of books.

Some of you will already know about her and her amazing talent. I feel quite blessed to have come across her and very spoilt by her beautiful work. She is so enthusiastic and a breeze to talk to. I highly, highly, recommend her for your cover work needs and whatever else.

Please read on to find out more about Jemina and her links and some of the amazing work she has done for Rachel Caine!!!

ABOUT JEMINA

As an unabashed, avid reader (aka booknerdfangirl), Jemina’s art is heavily inspired by her favourite novels, as well as favourite characters from film & TV. Jemina becomes crazy inspired to paint characters from a great number of fictional worlds & characters created by amazing authors, writers, artists & filmmakers and find it difficult to balance reading & watching these amazing characters and spending time painting them!

Jemina is currently studying for her Diploma of Graphic Design at CATC, [slowly] working on opening an online store & busily painting in preparedness for both Oz Comic-Con & Supanova Pop Culture Expo in Brisbane.

Jemina’s portfolio includes the Morganville Vampires Paper Doll book for New York Times, USA Today & Internationally #1 best-selling author Rachel Caine and the ‘Wil says…’ poster as seen on Wil Wheatons Don’t Be A Dick Day website.
For a little bit of random; Jemina also compulsively sings aloud (& desperately off-key) whenever listening to music in the car, is captain to the 8-Bit Heroes team in the Brisbane Relay For Life & is very happy to display more than a little bit of the ridiculous about her person & character, often at her own expense.

You can also find Jemina on Instagram, deviantART, Society6, tumblr, YouTube, Live Stream & more under ‘jeminabox’

HERE IS SOME MORE OF HER ART

This is my facebook banner.

She is also doing teasers for me and release banners.
I asked for a cover where the lad looks like a photograph.
 She delivered.
All the art is hand drawn and simply brilliant.

I can't wait to reveal my cover for :

 A Little Faith - Ocean Beach # 1 on Sept 2nd

Pop over to Jemina's facebook page and say hello and if you have anything you would like her to design for you, don't be shy. I was a little at first , but then I just messaged her and talked to her. The rest is history :)
