Will their past determine their future?
Saint Ford has worked hard to achieve her childhood dream of becoming of nurse. Focused on her work and devoted to her patients, there’s no room for love. She doesn’t need a guy making waves in her calm, serene life—especially when he’s the unforgettable hottie who nearly destroyed her in high school. Dark, brooding Nash Donovan might not remember her or the terrible pain he caused. But he turned her world upside down . . . and now he’s trying to do it again.
Saint has no idea that Nash isn’t the cocky player he once was. Uncovering a devastating family secret has rocked his world, and now he’s struggling to figure out his future. He can’t be distracted by the pretty nurse he seems to meet everywhere. Still, he can’t ignore the sparks that fly between them —or how she seems so desperate to get away from him. But the funny, sweet, and drop-dead gorgeous Saint is far too amazing to give up on—especially since she’s the only thing in his life that seems to make sense.
When Nash discovers the truth about their past, he realizes he may have lost her heart before he could even fight for it. Now, Saint has to decide: is Nash worth risking herself for all over again?
BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:
Hell. Yeah!
Loved.
Loved.
Loved, Nash and Saint and the awesome new characters that have made their way into the Marked Men series.
OO yeah!!
There is one, who is gonna be fun. She is sassy and smart and the visual I have of her is really colourful. Quite a chick, me thinks.
But what is her agenda?
There are some more new characters and I like them both. Can’t wait to read more. The neighbor across the ways has a story to tell and the lad, he has a bad past, but he is making himself a positive future.
Anyhoo. On to Nash and his Saint.
I for one really understood Saint. I connected with her because I understood her fears. I may not have been as determined to keep myself at arms length, but I certainly got her. I think she is perfect for Nash.
Nash has such a beautiful soul. He may have been a man whore in his younger days, sowing his oats, but that was then.
This is now.
“We were all a bunch of pricks back then; it took finding the right person to make me not want to be that guy anymore. You, well, you were always the nice one, but even the nice guy can have a bad day. Eventually she’ll get over her hang-ups over the past, and if she doesn’t, you move on because that means she’s not into the guy you are now.”
He certainly has got himself under Saint's spell, something he thought he would never be capable of.
The chicks chased him.
This beautiful nurse that has to learn to love herself before she can love somebody else fully, has him wanting to spend the time on working her out.
Nash has so much going on in his life. He has been snowballed with family issues and new prospects are on the horizon while love is fighting its way into the ring with Saint in the blue corner and Nash in the red corner.
Saint has her own family issues that she is dealing with, plus the beautiful neighbor across the ways who wants to be her friend.
“That boy is sprung on you and he is a nice guy. A super hot, supersexy nice guy. Do you know how rare that is? He’s like a goddamn unicorn.”
She just needs to learn to trust in Nash. She needs to learn that this guy won’t hurt her. He is so patient and caring and smexi with her.
“Whaddaya say, Saint? Wanna give me another ten minutes?”
She gazed up at me like she was trying to figure something out. There was confusion, but more than that, on her face, and her eyes had darkened to a cool shade of slate.
“Who are you, Nash Donovan?”
I gave her the most honest answer I could to that question. “Sometimes I don’t know, but most of the time what you see is what you get, Saint. I know you think I was once someone else, but I’m telling you I was never that guy.”
“I don’t know how to make you understand that isn’t a possibility. Nothing about you could ever disappoint any man, Saint.”
“This is your game, Saint. How do you want to play?”
When Saint lets Nash in...
“That was probably the hottest, most beautiful thing I have ever seen.” He sounded gruff and a little winded.
“Saint, not everything is win or lose. We aren’t in competition with each other, we’re here to have fun and spend some time together without a bunch of noise and the outside bugging us. Just relax and let go.”
Rule and the crew make appearances and Rule, bless him, he is becoming such a wise Yoda with a moment or two.
“So she’s hard to figure out... did you stop and think maybe the reason you like her, that she matters, is because she isn’t easy like all the rest? Easy is very forgettable, my friend, complicated and difficult stays with you forever. Believe me, I married it.”
“When did you turn into the relationship sensei?”
“All my friends and family are falling in love around me. I’m just trying to keep them from making the same mistakes I made with Shaw.”
Poor Nash’s heart bleeds and he made me get all sniffly.
“Because it’s ridiculous... all of it. What’s right for me isn’t what’s right for you because I’m an actual human being with feelings and emotions, and you, Mom... you’re a goddamn monster.”
Oh, and that tattoo.

About the Author
I'm supposed to share interesting details about myself so that my readers get to know me so here we go in no particular order: I'm an natural redhead even though I haven't seen my real hair color in years, I'm a big fan of tattoos and have a half sleeve on either arm and various other pieces all over the place, I've been in the bar industry since I was in college and it has always offered interesting insight into how men and women interact with each other.
I have 3 dogs that are all crazy, I live in Colorado and love the snow, I love music and in all reality wish I could be a rock star not a writer or a bartender but I have zero talent so there is that. I love to write, love to read and all I'm interested in is a good story with interesting characters that make the reader feel something. Thanks for taking the time to check my stuff out...
