A new novel of "toe-curling" erotic romance from the national bestselling author of Laid Bare.
After his parents' death, Brody gave up a promising career to care for his family. Now, with his siblings grown, Brody owns his own business, and for the first time in years he's alone. Elise has come to Seattle with her daughter to find peace. After years as a world-famous ballerina-and trapped in a marriage gone bad-she's looking for neither love nor attention. But she finds both in the handsome, honest man who befriends her with no strings attached.
Brody and Elise discover in each other the wild, physical passion they need. But it'll take a shadow from Elise's past to make them look beyond what they need-to what they truly desire.
Up next .... Inside Out , Cope's book.

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle
I loved Brody in , ‘Laid Bare’, # 1 in the Brown Siblings series and I wasn’t disappointed in this instalment.
He is such a smexi thirty nine year old who has a genuine heart. He likes taking care of his friends , family and the ladies in his life no matter their age.
He felt very real. All Lauren’s characters in this series feel very real. They could live up the street, no matter their fame.
Elise is a great character, she has her own share of skeletons in her closet, but she can look after herself and her daughter. She can stand on her own two feet. But sometimes it is nice to have somebody to lean on.
Brody thought he just wanted to have some fun, some smexi moments and his life was ok.
Until he met Elise.
They show each other that life is better with the other one in their life.
I really love Adrian, he sees it more in black and white.
Erin and her men keep showing us how well matched the trio are and opening up more story line with their characters. Things simply come better in three’s for this trio.
Love comes how it wants to come. Erin, Todd and Ben show me that.
Brody is a very , very smexi male character and a protector. He loves women. He is very talented as a tattooist and I think he even surprised himself with Elise and Rennie.
Lauren certainly doesn’t hold back on the uber smexi, toe curling moments in this instalment.
Cope is still such a fun lad. We don’t get much of Cope aka Andrew Copeland in this book. I can see he has a book and that is next up for me, ‘Inside Out.’
I think Cope is about to be taken off the market. :)
Lauren is favouring the ‘E’ for her female love interests. Erin, Elise and Ella for Cope.
I do like reading about Raven, I think her book is going to be very interesting. She sounds a bit lost in this book. She wants what she can’t have, but could have had Brody, but she blew it. She seems like a bit of a runner when the going is good. She sabotages her relationships. I am quite interested to see what she gets up to in, ‘Drawn Together’, # 6.
I am rather addicted to this series. I think if you like Jay Crownover’s writing and her Marked Men series, you will enjoy Lauren Dane’s , Brown Siblings. They both have very ‘real’ characters who look out for each other. I think Lauren’s writing, from what I have read so far, is a bit more naughtier than Jay’s.
Not that I am complaining J
