Description From Aimee Carter's Website:

A vacation in Greece sounds like the perfect way for Kate Winters to spend her first sabbatical away from the Underworld...until she gets caught up in an immortal feud going back millennia. Castor and Pollux have been on the run from Zeus and Hades's wrath for centuries, hiding from the gods who hunt them. The last person they trust is Kate, the new Queen of the Underworld. Nevertheless, she is determined to help their cause. But when it comes to dealing with immortals, Kate still has a lot to learn....

Marissa's Review:

Ever wonder what happened during the 6 months Kate Winters was in Greece with James....away from Henry and the Underworld?  I certainly did!
The Goddess Hunt.......for me it was the start that was missing from Goddess Interrupted - so I am really glad Aimee Carter has given us this fantastic novella.

Lux and Casey - Walter's (Zuess) twins on the run from the Gods are found by Kate and James......and then by the others.  Whilst the powerful Gods are determined to bring the twins to justice, Kate is hell bent on acquiring their freedom and making sure they get to stay together.  She knows only too well the pain of being separated from a loved one.

With Henry being one of the Gods seeking Caster's return, will Kate's faith in Henry be tested and broken?  Though only a novella, we get a nice insight into Henry's feelings and thoughts regarding his actions with Kate.  It was definitely one I would have liked to have read before Goddess Interrupted - it would have explained so much about Henry's wishy washy emotions.

Currently out in the series are:

The Goddess Test
The Goddess Hunt (Novella)
Goddess Interrupted

ENJOY!

  1. Ooooh, I've not read The Goddess Test yet, but this sounds like so much fun! And it seems to have a really tight, complex little plot, which short stories can sometimes miss? Can't wait!
