The story of a young heiress's initiation into the dark society of the Chicagoland Vampires continues...

Ten months after vampires revealed their existence to the mortals of Chicago, they're enjoying a celebrity status usually reserved for the Hollywood elite. But should people learn about the Raves-mass feeding parties where vampires round up humans like cattle-the citizens will start sharpening their stakes.
So now it's up to the new vampire Merit to reconnect with her upper class family and act as liaison between humans and bloodsuckers, and keep the more unsavory aspects of the vampire lifestyle out of the media. But someone doesn't want peace between them-someone with an ancient grudge...

BOOK REVIEW:

I am still rating this book a 4 Star read but , I’m trying to get Chloe’s writing style down. Cassandra Clare knows how to work a crowd of characters and get us to friend them, know them, watch them grow as the next book pops up, she’s not afraid to give them each some time in her books. I am still really enjoying Catcher’s character but am having trouble I think with the supporting characters either I want to know a lot more or I am having trouble as to why they pop up. I know this sounds a tad silly my comment. I’m trying to wrap my head around it myself.

Merit decides she’s seen enough bare ass, even though it belongs to gorgeous Catcher, in her house she shares with Mallory . The house has suddenly become too small when you can’t even go into your kitchen without Mallory and Catcher rolling all over the place. Time to head to Cadogan House, out of the bare ass pit into the Ethan smexual tension, fire. It is where she needed to be from the start, incase of those 911 calls.

Mallory is being shipped off to Schaumburg to get in touch with her inner sorceress. I keep feeling like I am not getting enough information with Mallory, like there is time to be spent on her in Schaumburg getting to know what she is going through, then when she comes back and does her mojo, we get it.

This book is like a hotties festival. Morgan is just gorgeous and quite frankly why wouldn’t any girl want him. Luc has his eyes set on Lindsey, but that is just too difficult, apparently. I either want to really have some time spent on them or just let them get it on already. Malik gives us a little surprise but no more is said???

Somebody gets there monopoly card given back to them, get out of the shit free card, leaving Merit worried.

The Breckenridges are now in the mix and some interesting things come to light.

There are threats being thrown around left, right and centre and somebody is telling porky pies.

Merit has her own inner mojo that she is working against, fighting it, leaving her vulnerable. I was a tad confused by this but it does come to light.

All in all , again I enjoyed this read, I have actually read Twice Bitten # 3 and it was awesome. Chloe really stepped her writing up and the smexi was worth the wait . Ethan is now my gorgeous guy , Catcher has taken a back burner and Gabriel is well....hot!! but, totally taken by the very quiet Tonya.
