Morganville, Texas is a quiet college town where humans and vampires live in relative peace. But lately a great deal of blood is being spilled - not in a feeding frenzy, but for someone's twisted idea of entertainment. After discovering that vampires populate Morganville - and surviving a number of adventures with her new night-dwelling friends - college student Claire Danvers has come to realise that for the most part, the undead just want to live their lives. But someone else wants them to get ready to rumble. There's a new extreme sport being broadcast over the Internet: bare-knuckle fights pitting captured vampires against one another - or, worse, against humans. Tracking the out-of-town signal leads Claire - accompanied by a loyal group of friends and frenemies - to discover that what started as an online brawl will soon threaten everyone in Morganville. And if they want to survive, they'll have to do a lot more than fight...

I am off today to Rachel's book signing and talk. I'm really looking forward to it. Marissa went to last night's signing in Perth, Western Australia and had a wonderful time, got the photos to show us all , later. We will be putting up a combined 'Rachel Caine , Our First Book Signing Adventure', in next couple days. I live in Queensland and Marissa lives in Perth , so we have to do some heavy duty skyping and get our 'Adventure', documented for you all to see......and of course some wonderful signed giveaways we have organised for you wonderful followers.

Big thankyou again to Miss Suzi for working her magic and sending us each some stuff to get signed.

In our marathon week of reading , The Morganville Vampires series, I only made it to the first few chapters of #6 Carpe Corpus. Marissa finished # 4 Feast of Fools. Wow !! I had to crack open Carpe Corpus after the ending to Lord of Misrule!!!

I've secured a couple copies of Bite Club # 10 released May 2nd 2011 ( yesterday ) to get signed, I just have to pick them up before signing. We had public holiday here yesterday, so it wasn't as easy as you think,  4 book shops later, I got my 2 copies secured!! * doing happy dance*

Time to organise a few things in my day now , and then I shall pick up my middle child early from school so that he can come with his mamma and enjoy the experience with me, also the junk food snacks he is looking forward to:D
