It was a lovely surprise to receive this in the mail. I have had Birthmarked on my To-Read list on Goodreads at # 165, I'm now upto #1,231 books to read. Can't wait to read Prized #2 in the series due for release November 8th 2011.

I borrowed this series originally from my local library and loved it that much , when I saw these books in a book rack at my local IGA store, I snapped them up. This is the 'Downside Ghosts', series. I will be having an interview with Stacia Kane in about a month.

ONCE A WITCH by CAROLYN MACCULLOUGH

UNRAVELLED by GENA SHOWALTER 

I bought Once A Witch because via Netgalley I requested Always A Witch, but realised it was book # 2 in 'Witch', series. So I had to buy book  # 1. Also Cassandra Clare has a book blurb on front so I figured if she likes it, I will like it.

Unravelled is book # 2 in 'Intertwined', series by Gena Showalter.

FINNIKIN OF THE ROCK

Finnikin of the Rock is book # 1 in the 'Chronicles of Lumatere', series by Melina Marchetta. In support of Aussie authors I thought I would have a read. Melina wrote 'Looking For Alibrandi', which was also made into a movie.

'Chronicles of Lumatere' according to Goodreads is showing book # 2 title as , 'Froi of the Exiles'and book # 3 title as, 'Quintana of Charyn'. Neither are released yet.

Melina has written several books.
