BOOK COVER - BLOODLINES - RICHELLE MEAD author of VAMPIRE ACADEMY

Richelle Mead , author of the International Bestselling,   'Vampire Academy' series is writing a spin-off  from Vampire Academy, moving the character Sydney, a human alchemist, to the forefront. The story will be set in a Californian high school, book # 1 titled Bloodlines.


Sydney is on the cover. Bloodlines is set to hit shelves on August 23rd 2011.
 I have the Vampire Academy complete series sitting on my book shelf, ready to read, soon. I've heard such great things about the series.

    I absolutely cannot wait for 'Bloodlines' ... You definitely need to read the VA books soon. I put them off for forever because they weren't my usual type of book, but I wish I had read them sooner, because they're absolutely amazing.

    I've had so many bloggers tell me to read them, I need to find the time soon. I'm currently reading as many of The Morganville Vampire series I can, before May 3rd, for Rachel Caine's signing here. I tell ya it's a marathon...lol!! I haven't heard one person say anything bad about VA series. I hear Dimitri is popular with the ladies:D
