I absolutely loved this book!!! Zsadist character was just sooo well written. I knew I was going to love Z!!!!
Wow!! This is primarily Zsadist and Bella's book. I got a whopping POW!!! but I won't tell you where. I would have got more but I darn well was adding these youtube fanmade vids to my reviews and saw too much:( But love the clever peoples who take the time to make them:D
Í love a POW!!! I just did not see this one coming, well done J.R. Ward. I always have theories when I am reading books and you totally got me!!!!
This book has real heartache in it. I was just about blubbering with a scene in this book. I just felt so....well....affected by this character.
I understand Phury more now, where as I was wondering a bit about him. Butch is quite funny in this book. I laughed out loud at a verbal between Phury and Butch.
Tohrment , John, Wellsie....sigh....great little family there. Love Tohr and Wellsie for their love of John:D.....sob!!
Mr O is out doing his horrendous thing and upping the stakes.
So far Book 3 is my fave. You learn a fair bit in this book.
The smexi is well...smexi but also not like the other books, so to speak. There is so much more pain mentally this time. So much more emotion at stake. I could have cried for Zsadist, so many times.
John's character develops more . Stones are unturned. Life changes.
I would love to say sooo much more but it would ruin the story, so I will sign off and hope you enjoy the Black Dagger Brotherhood books as much as I am :D

ReplyDeleteI am having the best time reading these books. I am up to bk 5!!!! I think I will be sad when I get through them all. They are real good. I think each book gets better. Bk 1 is getting to know everyone , loved bk 3 and bk 4..just lvoe them all. J.R Ward has a way of keeping you reading. I will do review for bk 4 shortly..I have to sneak of hide from the kids to read more of bk 5. Although very naughty smexi books...its not what drives the books. The stories are wonderfully fleshed out characters. Just love Zsadist. I highly recommend. I hope they continue to keep getting better. Bk 4 was WOW!!! still a huge fan of Zsadist..his story was very heart felt:D
Trust me you will need a bib reading these to wipe the drool. Loved Fever series I was still putting them ahead of BDB books..but now not so sure...they keep getting better:D

ReplyDeleteJ.R Ward , is brilliant at making you wonder... then will be writing about a character, half way through chapter will go onto another character and it makes you hurry up and read to get back to the little bit she left you hanging on. She's not afraid to take a character out for a bit to have you keep reading to find when character comes back. I find them very original as I havent read alot into the over YA books. Smexi cant make a good book..it makes the eyes boggle..lol!! but there has to be fleshed out characters and great story..and well WOW!!! these boys are awesome:D
You MUST read them:D Book 1 is great but from then on it builds ....
