Every touch has its price

Layla Shaw is trying to pick up the pieces of her shattered life—no easy task for a seventeen-year-old who’s pretty sure things can’t get worse. Her impossibly gorgeous best friend, Zayne, is forever off-limits thanks to the mysterious powers of her soul-stealing kiss. The Warden clan that has always protected her is suddenly keeping dangerous secrets. And she can barely think about Roth, the wickedly hot demon prince who understood her in ways no one else could.

But sometimes rock bottom is only the beginning. Because suddenly Layla’s powers begin to evolve, and she’s offered a tantalizing taste of what has always been forbidden. Then, when she least expects it, Roth returns, bringing news that could change her world forever. She’s finally getting what she always wanted, but with hell literally breaking loose and the body count adding up, the price may be higher than Layla is willing to pay…

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:

Oh dear lord! What am I gonna do?

Team Roth...yes, please!

Team Zayne...yes, please!

Gahhhh!!!

Bad boy vs good boy.

So freakin’ hard!

I am see sawing, flip flopping.

My heart says Roth but I love Zayne too.

COME ON!! JENNIFER!!

*face plant *

It’s so difficult to choose a team. I can’t even join their names together and come up with ZATH or ROYNE. Just doesn’t work.

Poor Layla has Abbott against her and shiz is going down around her. I was thinking one thing and then ...

OMG that ending!!

That twist!

I didn’t piece it. I thought something but didn’t think THAT!!

I sniffed something out, but, OMG that ending!

I LOVED this instalment, I’m all grabby, grabby for Every Last Breath... I mean I have to work out my Team guy.

I can’t help thinking Jennifer has Danika hanging about for a reason. I mean she didn’t do much in this book she’s just floating about, waiting to be used.

I really loved a particular scene in this book. Roth takes Layla on a walk on the wild side and visually it played through my mind in a creepy, goth kinda way.

LOVED IT!!

Roth you keep surprising me with what is underneath all that Brimstone and Zayne, dang, I hope, I mean I HOPE you ...

Well, I can’t say.

I love a book that gets me a bit GAHHH when it comes to two male characters. I can usually just get my guy and be done with it and moon over him for the rest of the book/series, but this series...

Pluck-A-Duck Jennifer!!!

I know I have overused my exclamation marks but just go with the flow, people.

This middle book has me a bit twisted in knots.

Anyhoo, go grab this most AWESOME YA series of Jennifer’s and bathe in Roth and Zayne. I have my theory now of what may happen with this love tango.

I shall wait and see if I am right. Either way my heart will have a bit broken off for the one that doesn’t get Layla.

Anyone for a Roth and Zayne sandwich?

Either way I got 7 months to wait!

Bugger!

  1. I haven't read any of these books yet but I want too. I'm nervous though. I hate love triangles but the thing I hate most is not being able to decide whose team I'm on. It's easy to support someone completely but when you're torn between two men---eeep! Emotional.....
