RATING: 5 JASE STARS!

Book Blurb : Goodreads

My father taught me the importance of an eye for an eye—a cardinal rule, ingrained in every club member.

A life for a life.

Seven lives in payment for an unimaginable list of sins.

People might wonder why I’m doing this. If this vengeance is borne from some noble cause. If I’m trying to prevent others from suffering at the hands of Dornan Ross and his sons.

But I’m no selfless vigilante.

I’m doing this for me. I’m doing it because I want to.

I’m doing this because I just want to be able to sleep at night without seeing their faces.

This is the fate they have earned. The penance for their crimes.
Time to send some of these brothers off with a bang.

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:

I finished Five Miles last night and HOLY SHIZ!!

Currently this is my fave book in the serial.

It had what I was looking for with a certain character. It validated something for me, personally.

His face clouds over and his hand shoots out, yanking me to my feet. “Yeah, well,” he says, pulling me toward the door. “I started thinking with my head instead of my dick, and look how quickly it all started to unravel.”

I did like this conversation between Jase and Sammi.

“Let me guess,” Jase says, throwing me a look. “Trouble just seems to find you.”

I shake my head. “No, I definitely go looking for the trouble,” I reply. “I find it before it finds me.”

Then Sammi started reacting like I felt her character would eventually.

I think what I am saying is I found in this installment the validity I needed that brought a five star rating for me.

The truth is, I’m doing it for me. I’m doing it because I like it. I’m doing it because the look on Maxi’s face, and Chad’s, when I killed them, was a balm to my soul. I’m doing it, because this is what they all deserve.

This installment was informative on certain characters and we go deeper.

“I told you I’d help you leave,” Jase says bitterly.

“I know,” I say, staring at my hands.

“I don’t even know who you are,” he spits.

Five Miles was deliciously gritty, dangerous, intense and fragile.

And then there was Jase.

I really loved what Lili did with Jase in this installment.

The sub characters bring it. Elliot is...awwww I love Elliot. Such a nice guy.

“You’re killing me, Julz,” he muttered. “You know that, right?”

Relieved that I had been lucky enough to be found by someone who could put me back together, piece by shattered piece.

Jase’s brothers...hell yeah they are mean mofo’s.

Dornan, man, he is such a great villain. He really does leap off the page. I feel like I am in the same room as him and all his evil is floating about me.

I love the way Lili is getting creative and changing it up with the demise of the brothers.

I can't wait to read Four Score, shiz just went up a notch!

I am deliberately reading these when I can read a couple at a time, because I like to keep going.

I highly recommend this satisfyingly, villainous and brutal tale.

Well done Lili.
