NINA LEVINE - GIVEAWAY - STORM - STORM MC # 1 - ADULT CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE - SELF PUBLISHED - AUSSIE AUTHOR ROAD TRIP - DAY 27

Day 27 on the Aussie Author Road Trip has me dropping in on Nina Levine. She likes her lads hot, tough and all ALPHA.

OOokayy!

Sounds like I need to read me some Nina.

Happy Release Day for the 26th November for Storm. Go throw this one onto your TBR piles.

Welcome Nina.

AUTHOR BIO

Nina Levine is an Aussie writer who writes stories about hot, alpha men and the tough, independent women they love. You won't find any whiny, spineless women in Nina's books and you certainly won't find weak men.

A warning though, you will find lots of swearing & sex, occasional violent encounters and men and women who live fast and love hard.

Nina's debut book Storm will be releasing in November 2013. It is based around the Storm Motorcycle Club and is the first book in an MC series.

6 Quick Things:

A quote that means something to you.

"Not all those who wander are lost." ~ J.R.R. Tolkien

A song that describes you.

Who You Are by Jessie J

"Brushing my hair, do I look perfect?
I forgot what to do to fit the mold, yeah!
The more I try the less it's working, yeah
'Cause everything inside me screams
No, no, no, no, no..."

and... lately I ADORE Roar by Katy Perry

"I used to bite my tongue and hold my breath
Scared to rock the boat and make a mess
So I sat quietly, agreed politely
I guess that I forgot I had a choice"

Who is your book boyfriend?

Wow, this is hard to narrow down... I think I might have to pick Jesse Ward from the This Man Series by Jodi Ellen Malpas. He is totally alpha, demanding, bossy... all the things I love in a man.

Who is your book girlfriend?

I love Grace from the Redhead Series by Alice Clayton. I adore her sense of humour, her insecurities and how she handles them.

Author that inspired you and why?

Colleen Hoover and Jasinda Wilder. Reading their stories of how they changed their lives through self publishing has inspired me to give it a go. I have always written and had a dream of publishing a book but self doubt held me back. Watching these authors achieve what they have is so inspirational to me. And, to be honest, all self published authors inspire me!

Will you be attending the Indie Author Down Under Gold Coast event 22nd March 2014?

Life can be a bitch but love can get you through any storm.

Madison Cole’s family is the Storm Motorcycle Club. Her father is the President and her brother is the VP. She grew up surrounded by bikers, crime and violence. Two years ago she walked away from her family and the world they live in. Her soul was shattered, her heart was broken and she had an addiction she couldn't shake. She picked up the pieces and put herself back together. Now her family wants her back. The club is being threatened and they send a club member to return her home to safety; the one person that could destroy everything she has worked so hard to build.

Jason Reilly has sacrificed a lot for the motorcycle club he calls family. Two years ago he made the biggest sacrifice of all; he gave up the woman he loved for them. Now he is being sent to bring her back and he is conflicted. He thought he was over her but discovers their connection is as strong as ever. Their love was all-consuming, passionate and fiery. It was also their undoing and he doesn't know if either of them is strong enough to battle the demons that ripped them apart, to find love again.

Madison and Jason are brought back together by a force out of their control; one that pushes them to a breaking point. Can they overcome their past and discover a love worth fighting for or will the harsh reality of their world finally and completely break them both?

EXCERPT

I traced the tattoo on his chest, remembering the day he had it done. It was my name tattooed in an anchor and I was surprised and thrilled that he still had it; I would have expected him to tattoo over it after we broke up. His hand cupped my chin and he tilted my face up to look at him while his other hand wrapped around my hand that had been exploring his chest.

“Baby, it’s always been you. Always. Tell me you believe that,” he said, his voice husky.

“Yes, I believe it, J,” I breathed out, full of love and desire. I reached my other hand up to his face and pulled him to me, kissing him deep and hard, before admitting, “And it’s always been you. I thought this was done but it’s not and I don’t ever want it to be.” I laid my heart bare before him and prayed he wouldn’t fuck with it again; that he would treasure it and help me to finally put it back together.

“It won’t ever be done. You and me, that’s forever, and this time... this time I will do right by you. I thought I always had put you first, but today, seeing you there, fucking tied up... fuck, baby, today I realised that I would do anything for you. I won’t make the mistakes I’ve made in the past.”

And just like that, he had me. I was back where I should be; I was his.

  1. More biker boys!! I just read my first Alice Clayton book two weeks ago and I love her style. I'm still a big follower of chick-lit and although it's 60% CRomance there's still a big chunk of chick lit feel for me to indulge in. Happy Thanksgiving from America, Matey!
