REVIEW:

WOW! WOW! WOW!....... Did I mention WOW!?  This is like no other I have read.  It is a book of pure and raw emotion.

Elizabeth uses the strengths of colours and elements to help the reader visualise every aspect of the book.  The senses are in overdrive with this book. I truly felt apart of the story.  And yes.... I cried. There were two parts that I shed a tear for - one of sorrow and one of relief.

Nora is a wonderful female lead that grows spiritually, emotionally and even physically throughout the book. Her undeniable love for Gavin is felt from it's inception right through till the last page. Her inner strength is unmatched by those around her and her purity is second to none (though Rena comes close!).

Gavin is a protective Alfar whose "source" is Nora. Not only the source of his existence on a physical sense, but the powerful love he has for her is immense.  He his, however, torn between his love and at times his position within the Alfar world.

Elizabeth introduces us to a few characters that stay with us till the end and will sure be paramount to the second installment of this series. There is of course one main loss during this first book that will be felt by all as it was so powerfully written.

The synopsis does not do this book justice......though having read The Light of Asteria, I struggle to put into words the overwhelming emotional, spiritual and sensual elements that Elizabeth has so greatly given us. Your best option is  - GET A COPY AND READ IT-FEEL IT-LOVE IT!

ENJOY !
