I LOVED Blood & Roses series where we get to meet Cade and of course the star of this book, Rebel.

I was excited to start this series knowing I could go onto Rogue as soon as I wanted to.

I really enjoyed learning more about Sophia aka Alexia. Did I dig the little I knew of her in Blood & Roses...not particularly...but I loved getting to know her in Rebel.

I love the background we find out about Rebel in this first book. I thought he was phwooaaaarrr the little bit we got to see of him in Blood & Roses and we learn far more.

Rebel surprised me with the quirk he has with a... well, I won’t tell you.

I liked this was story first and then the sex was secondary, because the sex would have been forced and not validated if it was more than what it was in this first instalment. If that makes sense.

It was a slow burn on both the sexual side and the getting to know each other, but I didn't mind it told that way.

Callie throws in a surprise that I didn’t see coming because I think I was comfortable with learning about the characters and then BAM!

Shit went down.

Looking forward to picking up Rogue...soon.

I love Callie Hart's , Blood & Roses series ( dark romance ) where we get to meet Michael.

I will admit straight out I have a lady boner for Michael and was hoping he would get his own full length book, which he is and it's coming 2016.

Huzzah!

This is a little taste, a little novella to wet our whistle as we follow Michael around for a day.

If you have read the Blood & Roses series, then this read is a bit of a step back in time through Michael's eyes.

We get to see his sexual appetite.

We finish the novella wanting more... and maybe purring.

Or that might just be me.

Oh, and the cover. OMG!!! If I could picture Michael, this beautiful man would be him.

A serial I highly recommend.

Next up is Rebel and also Violent Things will be coming my way...and guess what it’s Zeth back! I finished off this series by purchasing the box set and I got a nice surprise in the back. There was a Violent Things excerpt which has me hanging for more.

I did tell myself not to read it, because I would only want more...but I did, but now it is released I can read it.

I pretty much read Fallen and Twisted one after the other, not coming up for air, so I had to go back and make notes for Fallen because... I couldn't stop reading.

Love this series!!

Need I bring up the sex between Zeth and Sloane.

Well, ok...

I’ve never been one to get worked up over girls ruining their underwear, but with Sloane it’s different.


Some guys don’t eat pussy. But then again, some guys aren’t really fucking good at it like I am.



“I can’t do what I’d like to right now. I can’t tie you up and fuck you ‘til you explode, so I have a little game in mind instead. You wanna play?”



“You can breathe, Sloane. It’s not tight.” Zeth brushes a hand down my front, skimming his fingers across my breasts. “Not until you want it to be.”



You’re killing me, angry girl,” he groans into my ear. “I wanna fuck you so hard. I wanna feel you coming all over my dick.”

We get a nice helping of Charlie Holsan in this book. He is a very evil man, wonderful villain material.

Sloane is getting sucked deeper and deeper into a hole that is gonna be hard to get out of when it comes to her job.

Zeth is starting to look at his feelings for Sloane and do some of his own assessing.

The thick silence that follows makes me feel like throwing up. But then he says, “I’ve never been looking for enough, Sloane. I’ve always been looking for less. And I’m tempted to walk away from this situation about fifty times a day because you’re more than that. You’re too much.” 


I love the name Widow Maker for the name of a MC club, such a cool name. Michael, Rebel and Cade are such fave characters of mine. I am looking forward to reading Rebel’s series. I do hope Michael pops up as he is the cousin.


Cade points to his back to demonstrate that Michael's right. "This is all we had, man. Now come on, I thought you wanted to break into this place?"

"I did. But now my sidekicks are a motherfucking huge ex-con covered in prison tats and a black guy in a fucking hoody, I’m not so sure. Doesn’t exactly scream respectable.”

Michael, gosh there is just something quietly sexy about him. We see him only as the loyal, tough side kick to Zeth. He is just there when Zeth needs him at his beck and call. Does Michael even have a life outside of Zeth and his shenanigans?

Now as far as Denise aka Agent Lowell goes, something happened in this book that has me doing a lot of mmmm...ing. Like something was brushed over and I was like...dude! What just went on here?

I’ve been watching this woman’s behaviour and I have my eye on her with some assumptions of my own as she has her own agenda and it’s directed in Rebel’s direction.


Shenanigans abound, and I love it all.

If you haven’t started this serial, then get on with it. Very fast paced, sexy, deadly and dangerous.

Deviant is free and once you go there, you won’t stop.

I have been buying each book, but then the whole set came out for a nice price so I bagged that, so now I am reading through the box set which makes it very hard to stop and write a review before starting the next one.


I think I am gonna miss this cray cray series when all said and done.

I am spreading these out to read even though I am addicted to wanting more as soon as I finish the last one off.

Sloane and Zeth are getting their smexy on while we discover a bit more about Zeth and that goodness we know is underneath all that scary-manly-male-hit man stuff.

Zeth is simply gorgeous, but erm don’t mess with him, unless you are Sloane and he likes being messed with.

Visually I saw the whole setting for this instalment played out very well in my head. I was there.

New things come to light.

Michael is simply badass freakin’ bad, you can be on my team any day. I do have a lady boner for Michael.

Michael reaches over and slaps me on the back. He looks oddly bemused. “If you believe that, my dear friend, you’re the dumbest motherfucker alive.”



But now we have Rebel added to the mix and we get a taste. A mighty nice taste too.

“Hey, Sloane!”

It’s him, the tattooed bastard, following me down the corridor. I try to power-walk away from him, but he grabs hold of my arm. I spin on my heel, ready to lay into him again, but he lets go of me, holding his hands in the air.

“Don’t be mad at her, babe...”

OO he had me at babe.

The Blood & Roses series is such a cool set of serial sized reads. They are short, but Callie packs a lot into each of them. I feel satisfied by the time I have finished one.

I do recommend Blood & Roses series, Zeth is sexy as all get up and that duffel bag of tricks comes in handy for more than one thing.

The sub characters whether they be villains or the good guy, really hold their own.

Looking forward to reading Fallen, next.

I position myself right in front of him, so close he can see the defiance, the fuck you in my eyes. I’m doing this because I am almost hopelessly addicted to what this man does to me, but that doesn’t mean I have to be grateful for it. I lock eyes with him, refusing to look away as I yank my jeans down. I kick them away and shimmy out of my underwear, tossing the bundled items away like the action of me stripping for him means nothing. Like my heart isn’t thundering like a piston.

Zeth nods his head, appraising me. His half lowered eyelids give a heavy, sleepy look to his eyes that feels positively sinful. “You’re perfection, angry girl. No need to huff and puff. I’m gonna take care of you.”


Rawrrrr...rrrr...purrr...

I am addicted to this series, I feel it in my bones.

Sure this could be written as two or three books, but there is something about the way Callie teases us with the book sectioned off into serial/novella sized reads.

I am lucky I can read the whole lot without waiting, at my leisure.

I have to admit I am a little impatient to get to the end, but at the same time I am savouring what I am reading.

Callie doesn’t muck about with filler in story line and I appreciate that, it makes these short reads feel longer, full of exciting, sexy and dangerous story line.

I really felt the danger in this instalment and the frustration on Zeth’s behalf when Sloane decides to go find him.

I was all over that with agreeing with Zeth and the even more dangerous predicament Sloane had put them in.

You don’t fark with the Mexicans!

This is such a delicious series for me, it has all the components in it to make for a brilliant page turner.

Zeth still has his black duffle bag full of naughtiness and Sloane, the Resident Doc, needs to find her lost sister and Lacey is giving us more about her character.

This is a gritty, sexy = Zeth and also Michael, (I have a thing for Michael too) read.

Michael is such an Alpha character and he proves his strength even more in this instalment.

Sloane and Zeth are so good together. He wants her, but he needs to do what he needs to do, he also knows what he doesn’t want her to do.

He drops his hands to his sides, turning around slowly. His face is a mask of conflicted anger.

“Never do that again,” he says. He shakes his head, looking at me like I’ve lost my mind. “Don’t ever fucking kiss me again.”


Sloane always manages to get caught up in whatever is going down and Charlie has turned into a distrusting boss, quite the bastard. In this line of business, nobody is ever truly trustworthy.

This does not sit well with Zeth.

I personally don’t blame him.

I look forward to reading Burn and continuing with the danger, the black duffle bag's contents and the smexy.

BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:

I really LOVED this book.

It is short.

It gets straight into it.

Zeth is an addictive character.

I want to know more.

Sloane needs to find her sister and she will do whatever she needs to do to get information.

Let the sexy games begin.

I liked the side character Lacey. She has her own issues going on. Her character is used to show us a side to Zeth as much as a tool for bringing Sloane and Zeth that bit closer.

I honestly didn’t feel like this was a novella sized read because it felt like a full sized book.

I was very satisfied with what I was given, considering the number of pages.

Very clever of Callie to fit so much into such a small read.

I like the sound of Michael too.

All the characters have an element that stands out, they are sexy, or damaged or a little frightening.

Charlie isn’t exactly a lenient man, but he only brings out his most expensive toys for his most expensive problems. Miss a payment on a loan? Charlie sends Sam out to relieve you of a few fingernails. Lose a shipment of coke with the equivalent street value of a five-bedroom house and you get a visit from me. Horses for courses, that’s what Charlie says.


I have had this book sitting on my Kindle for too long, I could see the ratings were really amazing but time was stopping me from reading it.

THEN!!!

I read Hell’s Kitchen by Callie and Lili St Germain and there was the crossover with Zeth in it.

I was done for.

I had to start this series.

Now for Fracture because quite frankly I can’t stop reading, I need to keep reading.

Gritty, sexy, dangerous, pushes the envelope.

Loved it!

Hope. Hope is a nasty little bitch.
