BOOK REVIEW:

I loved this book and am very confuzzed about what Team I am on. The way this book ended makes me think that Team Shay has joined the ranks of Team Ren , for me personally.

I would like to start by pointing out that I read the hardback and upon receiving it from the Book Depository, one would think that the printing company used,  had gone and gotten themselves a blunt blade for trimming the pages, but nope when you receive a book with messily trimmed pages...I think this is a statement for being different. At first I was like hmmm ........hardback, ooo lookie my pages all end like somebody got their ruler and hurridly ripped each page, leaving uneven edges... LOL!!
I also loved the chapters started with a moon cycle, pretty cool and different.

When 2 wolf packs must join and your life and your mate have been mapped out for you and you come across a boy in the woods all torn up from a bear attack..well the reader knows there is going to be some love problems coming up. I can't pick a team. I am just lost as to who gets to be worn across my chest.

Calla is Alpha of the 'Nightshade' pack,  brave, determined and tough,  a born leader.  Ren is the playboy Alpha of the 'Bane' pack who has a deeper side to him but rarely shows it to Calla. From when Calla found Shay , all that she had been told,  started to be questioned and a need to find answers makes Calla challenge all she ever knew to be true. Rules will be broken!!!

I love reading a book where I get POWed!! and I got POWed!! There was something I did work out but another ...POW!!!..I had to laugh very early into the book and it was answered for me later on, I had to go with an assumption until I knew the answer. All I will say is..Twilight when Jacob / Paul etc changed into a wolf and then back into a human..they are in the nuddy.... for a bit I was like ??? but all was revealed ( pardon the pun ) and I got my answer.

There is a great line up of characters in this book. I love Bryn , Ansel, Mason, Neville. Poor Sabine. I know she probably isn't a likeable character but I see through her and her pain. I loved the connections Andrea made with her characters. Neville and Mason make me think of Ranulf and Vic , ( but in a different way) , from 'Evernight' series by Claudia Gray .( a totally brill series of books if you haven't read them. Which reminds me about my reviews....* looks sheepish*)

Ren, sigh..... what am I going to do with him, does he get to be on my t-shirt?? I was up and down like a yo yo with Ren. One minute he had me, then he didn't , then he did. Can I trust him? Shay was quieter and gorgeous and intelligent and trustworthy, I think.... but then...aaaaggghhh!!! who is my Team boy. Ren has the animal smexi but Shay......he's something else. 'Wolfsbane ' book 2 will help me decide...I hope.

An interesting group of characters Andrea has written, Keepers, Wraiths, Witches, Shapeshifters.....
 I can't wait for Wolfsbane as I think this will be a very exciting book in more ways than one. The book does end with you wanting to know more ........* taps foot impatiently waiting* ...tis going to be a looooong wait...sigh:D
