He's Gone Rogue
Ex-Navy SEAL Rock Babineaux’s job is to get information, and he’s one of the best in the business. Until something goes horribly wrong and he’s being hunted by his own government. Even his best friends at the covert special-ops organization Black Knights Inc. aren’t sure they can trust him. He thinks he can outrun them all, but his former partner—a curvy bombshell who knows just how to drive him wild—refuses to cut him loose.
She Won't Back Down
Vanessa Cordova hasn’t been the team’s communication specialist
very long, but she knows how to read people—no way is Rock guilty of murder. And she’ll go to hell and back to help him prove it. Sure, the sexy Cajun has his secrets, but there’s no one in the world she’d rather have by her side in a tight spot. Which is good, because they’re about to get very tight…
BOOK REVIEW by Michelle:
I was quite excited to get straight onto Rock’s book in the Black Knights Inc. series...and also my library loan was overdue.
I am ADDICTED to this easy to read series full of hawt ex Navy SEALS and their women.
Rock caught my attention in Rev It Up.
I wanted to know him more and I did.
He is absolutely gorgeous when he inner monologues and also he pulls at your heart strings.
Vanessa was an interesting character for me as I felt she came across as a lot tougher in Rev It Up, she was a lot less tougher in this one, but I still really liked her.
The things the Black Knights Inc. men will do for one of their own!
Funnily enough, even though Vanessa was less tough than I thought she was in Rev It Up, the jungle scenes were some of my fave in this book. I loved seeing Richard ‘Rock’ Babineaux in action. He is one smart operative.
This book came with a Tarzan moment which is sure to thrill. I was a bit giddy reading it and a Romancing The Stone style ride in the jungle.
This series is just a great escapism of Alpha men doing their thing to protect, and get those pesky villains off their backs.
Next up I have Eve and Wild Bill in Born Wild.
Yehaaa.
Looking forward to reading. Now I must return this book as I am holding up the next person who is probably hopping mad I am ten days overdue.
Ooops!
