I LOVED this instalment. I really connected with Logan, and Jessica is perfect for Logan’s mate. And it all comes with a wonderful twist.

Tes really makes Logan work for this gal that has appeared in his life. Roland and Karissa, the first books bonded characters, I do want to see them pop up more in future instalments as I want to personally, feel better connected to these characters.

Still love Alexander. I am soooo waiting for his book * waggles eyebrows*

Logan was an awesome character in this book. I loved ‘feeling’ his connection to Jessica and his pain and that a human and Paladin relationship really will not end well for a Paladin warrior, going on past stats.

The mystery of what Jessica was working on and how everything wove together made this book really good.

Jessica is a cool character. She is a cop and she has her secrets, her own bag of pain she has shoved into her closet.

Mike is a really great character which we get hinted at with something. So I am expecting the dear boy to turn up with a book in the future. I am likening his character to Butch in Black Dagger Brotherhood at the moment. Maybe presumptuous ?

Damon, well, could we be seeing more of this guy? I personally hope so. I shall say no more. I like him, even though I probably should not.

Valin.....just love the lines this guy is given. I want more in each book. He is like a teaser character who gets scenes, but is more a sub character at the moment, waiting in the wings for ‘Red’, being that support when needed with Logan.

So looking forward to Valin’s book as he has something spesh. I have a feeling he is going to be my fave and maybe even Mike. Again I am getting a bit ahead of myself here, theorising.

After this instalment, I am now very invested in this series. Jessica’s character is very well matched for Logan. There is a LOL! scene with Alex and Logan, you will know it when you read it. Valin , when he opens his mouth.....you can’t help laugh, but also there is another side that is peeking through. Dare I say he cares?
